knocked down. one twister flew into a strip mall parking lot damaging several cars but there are no reports of injuries. wildfires are the issue in california. overnight a fire that's already burned about 175 acres near riverside has forced the evacuation of a campsite. several wildfires are burning throughout the state fueled by gusting winds and high temperatures. and a heat wave extends from the west coast down to west texas. temperatures will continue to run well above normal into the holiday weekend with temperatures reaching up into the triple digits. some areas may see record highs for the holiday. breaking news in tennessee this morning. up to 5,000 people are under evacuation orders following a train derailment. as many as three cars went off the tracks and caught fire in maryville, about 20 miles from knoxville. the train is carrying hig

the world is remembering an extraordinary man who was known as the british schindler. nicholas winton helped save 669 mostly jewish children from czechoslovakia from nazi persecution on the eve of world war ii. wynton died wednesday. bob simon spoke with him in a report for "60 minutes" in a report in 2014. simon asked winton why he kept his mission a secret. >> the question i know that intrigues everyone who knows your story is why did you keep it secret for so long. >> i really didn't keep it secret. i just didn't talk about it.
