more than 5,000 passengers are safe after a cruise ship fire. smoke was seen coming out of the royal caribbean "freedom of the seas" in jamaica wednesday. the fire was put out within 90 minutes. one crew member was treated with first-degree burns. the ship will continue the cruise on schedule. a united airline flight from denver to los angeles made an emergency landing in grand junction, colorado. the plane was diverted after a number of passengers fell ill yesterday. there were reported smoke in the cockpit, and cabin, but firefighters found no flames. oxygen masks were deployed as passengers started feeling sick. >> there were a lot of people complaining of being light-headed, nausea, and sick. a gentleman in front of me looked like he might be having a seizure when it all started.

on the "cbs moneywatch," uber wins round one in its battle in new york city, and target's t-shirt controversy. jill wagner is at the new york stock exchange with that and more. good morning, jill. >> good morning, alison. the ride hailing app uber has reached a deal with new york city. for the time being it will prevent a cap on uber's growth. uber agreed to a four-month study on the impact of its cars and city traffic and the environment. there will be no limit on uber's growth imposed during that period. uber also agreed to make more of its vehicles handicap-accessible. apple stock got hammered following a disappointing outlook on the quarter. apple shares dropped 4.2%. apple shares dropped $5.53 to just over $125 a share. apple also announced yesterday that it's cutting its capital

spending for this fiscal year by 8%. the apple selloff coupled with the nearly 4% decline at microsoft pulled down wall street. the dow lost 68 points, the s&p lost 5 points and nasdaq finished 36 points lower. new york state moved to move the minimum wage for fast food to $15 an hour. it will be phased in over the next three years in new york. governor andrew cuomo says he'll support the measure. restaurant owners say they may challenge the move in court. a warning about popular dressers and chests made by swedish furniture makers ikea. they say ikea chests and dressers should be kept away from children unless they're mounted to the wall. ikea is offering a free kit to do that. a year ago an ikea chest tipped over killing two boys. the chests and dressers have
