avoided. >> what i did -- >> reporter: in a vegas gymnasium clinton said she's being singled out unfairly. >> i get a lot of attention because i had a personal e-mail account, as did other high-ranking officials. she shrugged off the fact that intelligence officials say some of the e-mails should have been marked classified and transmitted via a secure government system. >> what you're seeing now is a disagreement between agencies saying, you know what, they should have and the other one saying no, they shouldn't. that has nothing to do with me. everybody is acting like this is the first time it's ever happened. it happens all the time. >> reporter: but the fbi doesn't ask for people's servers all the time. >> try to wipe the whole server. >> i'm not -- you know, i have no idea. that's why we turned it over -- >> you were in charge of it. you were the official in charge. did you wipe the server? >> what, like a cloth or something? >> i don't know. you know how it works digitally. >> i don't know how it works digitally at all. >> reporter: the controversy does not appear to have shaken

her staunchest supporters. cbs news spoken to a dozen hill blazers, donors who have raised $100,000 or more. >> they're not worried about these issues. >> reporter: dallas lawyer and all the others say they aren't worried about the e-mail flack or even paying much attention to it. >> i can't tell you, even just today i received a phone call or i spoke to someone who said, when is the next event for hillary? >> reporter: clinton's approval ratings among democrats were still sky high in the latest cbs news poll. democratic strategist steve mcmann. >> so far there's no evidence that this is hurt her in the primary other than the fact that she hasn't completely solidified 100% of the vote, which was never really possible anyway. >> reporter: even clinton as she left the press conference said it's reporters, not democratic voters, who care about the e-mails most. >> nobody talked to me about it, other than you guys. >> it's true that the issue has not come up at any town hall we've seen where clinton takes questions from dozens of voters.

but, some donors have expressed concern that where this controversy could hurt her is in the general election when she has to win over not just democrats but the entire country, gayle. >> nancy, thank you. two people are missing this morning near seattle after a gas explosion leveled part of a mot motel 6. both of them are motel guests. the manager is getting praised for spotting the danger and possibly saving lives. maria guerrero of our seattle affiliate at the scene in bremerton, washington. >> reporter: good morning. two people staying at this motel are still unaccounted for this morning. firefighters are searching the rubble for any remaining hot spots. there had been around 65 people inside when one quarter of the motel exploded. >> i have an explosion. looks like the east side of motel 6 just exploded. >> reporter: late tuesday night emergency crews responded to a call of a gas leak at this motel 6 in bremerton. while police and firefighters were on the scene, it ignited.

a powerful explosion sending debris and flames shooting into the air. >> our firefighters were actually as they were in the scene they were blown back about 20 feet. thankfully no major injuries among our firefighters. >> reporter: one gas company employee was critically injured in the blast, attempting to stop the leak. he suffered severe head injuries and second and third degree burns. >> smelling the gas and hearing the leak so bad, i just got as far as away as i could. and then about 5,10 minutes later the explosion happened. >> reporter: the fiery explosion could have claimed more casualties if not for quick action of the motel 6 manager tonya heinz, a former volunteer firefighter. >> i can tell by the sound it was about 50 yards from me and the smell was so intense i knew this was very big. i just made an executive decision to evacuate my building and i said, pull that alarm, we've got to evacuate because i was worried about the explosion. >> reporter: gas crews managed to shut off the gas just before

11:00 last night. the cause of the explosion is still under investigation. >> maria, thank you. fast-moving flames are forcing more people out of their homes this morning in washington state. an urgent evacuation order was issued overnight for the entire town of coconnaly. 17 fires in washington and among dozens burning in the western united states. >> across the country more than 7 million acres have burned so far this year. that is an area bigger than the state of massachusetts. one of the most devastating is in washington. more than 100 national guard members have been brought in to help. danielle nottingham is at the guard's base camp. danielle, good morning. >> reporter: good morning. national guard members have joined more than 1,000 firefighters in the field. about 170 square miles have burned here so far, along with dozens of buildings. the conditions the crews are facing here are similar to those

at dozens of fires burning across the west. as wildfires spread across washington state more people are being rushed out of their homes. overnight one of five fires burning in north central washington jumped a containment line, racing across a mountain and toward a town of 200. everyone in the area is being ordered out. it's a battle across the west which has seen nearly 100 fires since this weekend. this fire in central california presented multiple problems for weary firefighters. >> we're dealing with deep, rugged terrain. you know, drought-stricken vegetation. kind of a difficult place to work. >> reporter: hundreds evacuated in washington are facing new worries this morning. the county sheriff has canceled all days off for deputies in the area to increase patrols in evacuated neighborhoods due to reports of looting. meanwhile, more than 100 national guard members have joined firefighters on the front lines. >> since the month of june, we've had crews out almost every

week for those 14-day assignments on fire after fire after fire. so that kind of collective fatigue that's happening throughout the state on many responders is a huge impact. >> since we've been here serve seen blackhawk helicopters sent in by the national guard making water drops over new flames that have parked up in the hills. some of the burning terrain is so remote and dangerous that firefighters known as smoke jumpers are parachuting in to battle the flames and put out hot spots. meanwhile, the attack from the air continues as it will for weeks, perhaps months to come. does it feel like there's any end in sight here? >> i'm not looking for an end in sight. i mean, we could see september-october being just an active fire behavior if we don't see significant rainfall. >> reporter: national guard members face an added challenge today. the national weather service issued a red flag warning through friday. breezy winds, low humidity, and

high temperatures could only help spread these flames even faster. >> danielle, thanks. three people are missing in alaska after devastating landslides tore through a small city. at least three landslides swept away several homes on tuesday. the city's fire marshal is among the missing. heather of our anchorage affiliate ktba is in sitka. heather, good morning to you. >> reporter: good morning. sitka is a small tight knit community of about 9,000 people. the fire chief describes it as a town where everyone knows everyone, including the three men who are missing. now, all crews can do is wait for the area to be safe enough to begin what's now being called a recovery effort. >> there used to be two houses up here. the houses are now gone. >> reporter: it's the devasta devastating aftermath of heavy rain in southeast alaska. debris covering the road after the waterlogged hillsides gave way. >> it's just an unstable area at this time. so i made the decision that we're not going to dig in that area and put other people at

risk. so that also meant that i had to make the decision that three people weren't going to come home tonight. >> reporter: reports of landslides and sinkholes came in early tuesday morning after the city was hit with 2 1/2 inches of rain in just 24 hours. alaska governor bill walker. >> -- any people down to do all we can to help in that situation. >> reporter: police closed streets after a landslide destroyed at least one home and took three men with it. brothers elmer and you'll cease diaz and fire marshal. city administrator mark gore man delivered the heartbreaking news to his wife. >> called to tell her her husband was missing in a landslide. she came up with their orange rubber guardian gloves, just a mess and saying, i'm here to start digging. >> reporter: later this morning geologists will determine if the slide areas are stable enough for crews to get in to begin those recovery efforts. alaska governor bill walker is also scheduled to be here today to tour the sites. sitka's city and bureau

officials hope that he declares it a disaster. the long time spokesman for fast food giant subway is pleading guilty this morning to charges of child pornography and underage sex. the fbi raided jared fogel's indiana home last month. adrianna diaz is outside the courthouse in indianapolis. good morning. >> reporter: good morning. jared fogel has arrived here in federal court. we're told he arrived by suv and was sent into a gaer da ranlg. by entering a plea deal he's being fast tracked. that means he avoids an indictment infront of a grand jury and possible trial. six weeks after federal agents seized computers, dvds, and other evidence from his home, jared fogel is expected to plead guilty to charges related to a child pornography investigation, according to our indianapolis affiliate wttz. >> hi, i'm jared the subway guy. >> reporter: 37-year-old fogel became a household name as the

spokesman for subway. his dramatic weight loss helped position the company as a healthy eating option. he appeared in hundreds of commercials for the chain. >> i spent the last 17 years talking about how subway has changed my life and what it can do for others. >> reporter: after the raid, subway, the world's largest restaurant chain by locations, suspended its partnership with fogel. the company hammered its point home tuesday night with one tweet. we no longer have a relationship with jared and have no further comment. fogel's professional connections helped him dlish the jared foundation, to fight childhood obesity. in may federal authorities charged russell taylor, non-profit's executive director and only paid employee, with producing and possessing child pornography. fogel's attorney declined to comment. later today we expect to hear from prosecutors on his sentencing which could include as many as 20 years many prison for the one count of child pornography alone. >> thanks. islamic militants executed one of syria's most prominent

disorder is a medical condition we've known about since 1977. we have four decades of medical research on this. >> how do you know the difference? >> there's a diagnostic questionnaire health care providers walk through. they look to did women have a desire in the past, have they lost something they used to know, are they bothered by it, and, you know, do you want to do something about it. then they start to look at exclusionary factors. if this is related to a relationship issue, it would not be the answer, talk therapy would be the course to that patient. so it is a well understood diagnosis in the medical community, and they really do -- they are able to chip away what it might be and is it biological and that's where women have been underserved. we have a narrative in society that's reduced all things in the bedroom for men to biology, as witnessed by countless medical treatment options and everything in the bedroom for women to

psychology. both genders bring both things into the bedroom and women deserve a biological treatment option. >> i know a lot of women are excited about this news today, but there are critics on the other side who say your company, sprout, launched such a well funded campaign and it sends the wrong message if you can approve something they normally wouldn't, it became a big public relations process. >> so that's factually inaccurate. we are one of 26 organizations that are part of a coalition effort in this. we are about one of them. i think we have been the case in point in a much larger conversation that needed to happen, and these are some of the most prestigious women's rights groups, women's health groups, and medical societies. >> sprout citizen is not a big pharmaceutical company. >> we tease we're a company that can entirely fit in an elevator and our mission was always from the get go to change the conversation around female sexuality. >> how should the conversation be changed? >> i think we operate at the
