alled 9-1-1- and the search continues for the suspect accused of stack his girlfriend in the neck over the weekends. >> the woman called 911 and said she had been stabbed but by the time police arrived it was too late. jackie ward has the story. >> reporter: the search continues for murder suspect anthony clinovationsic. police searched all the way down to the southern part of san mateo county. >> we are not limiting it to the bay area. we are pursuing all our available leads. >> reporter: dronessic is believed to be on the lam after stabbing his unidentified ex- girlfriend at her home on south beale street. she called 911 saturday afternoon, but police say by the time they arrived, she had died. we are now able to hear police being dispatched to that location. >> suspect in vehicle. suspect stabbed his ex- girlfriend with a knife. >> i can't get into an arrest

history, but can i tell you we have been to that location on several occasions, and that many of those contacts were domestic violence related. >> reporter: a neighbor we spoke to off camera said that is true. he also said in reference to the murder suspect that quote the little punk tried to sell me stolen stuff. end quote. police urge anyone who may scrinessic to not approach him. he is armed and dangerous. you are asked to call 911 if you spot him. today the man accused of killing an oakland muralist is expected to enter a plea. this is the scene after the shooting death of antonio ramos back in september. new at noon a chicago college student is under arrest for allegedly making an online threat against his school. right now that threat has shut down the university of chicago. the school said all classes and activities are canceled after the fbi confirmed an online

threat of gun violence targeting the campus quad. the decision to close the university affects more than 30,000 students, faculty and staff who work outlied park campus south of downtown chicago. security in france remains on high alert, president obama is in paris with nearly 150 world leaders for the largest ever summit on climate change. the president said quote we have come to paris to show our resolve two weeks after terrorists launched deadly attacks in the french capital, killing 130 people? the u.s. and china kicked off the summit, pledging to take action. >> the united states of america not only recognizes our role in creating this problem, we embrace our responsibility to do something about it. >> reporter: the goal is to limit global warming to 3.6 degrees fahrenheit from pre industrial levels. the conference runs until december 11th, giving world leaders less than two weeks to lockdown the first ever universal climate deal. and today a new poll by cbs

this week. alameda city council is poised to take a vote on the emergency ordinance. the ordinance could change the rules on what constitutes just cause for evictions. tenants at the bay view apartments received eviction notices this month days after the city council passed the temporary hikes on evictions. >> i can feel the stress you know? i'll be 71 years old christmas. i kept thinking will i be evicted on my christmas birthday. >> most of the families pay $1000 to $1200 for a one bedroom. shoppers have set their sights on cyber monday. how popular this online shopping day has become. >> reporter: i am no retail shopping expert, but take a wild guess why you think cyber monday is shaping up to be the biggest shopping day of the

shopping was up 25%. so cyber monday kicking off this noon hour. projected sales to increase 12% this year over last year with americans spending $3 billion today. kit doe kpix. here's what it looks like behind the scenes at the amazon warehouse in tracy. the hottest selling items this year are consumer electronics for the adults and the kids are crazy for anything "star wars." last year amazon sold 43 million products worldwide and they expect to top in this year. christmas comes a bit early for bay area kids today. the san francisco fire department will be passing out toys to low income families. the program helps to distribute over 200,000 toys to thousands of disadvantaged children throughout the bay area and organizations that serve them. finding a cure to aids by 2020 is a lofty goal but a new

custody, sparking days of violent protests. craig boswell has the latest from baltimore. >> reporter: demonstrators gathered as baltimore braced for the trial. officer william porter faces manslaughter and other charges for his alleged role in the death of the 25-year-old who died of spinal injuries while in police custody. prosecutors say gray was illegally transported without a seat belt and gray should have received medical attention. >> reporter: many believe this will set the tone in a fragile city that exploded in violence after gray's death. >> i think people are willing to let the judicial process go forward. we are waiting to hear the truth, we are waiting to hear what happened to freddie gray, and what evidence the prosecution will present. >> reporter: in court this

morning, the judge asked 80 potential jurors a series of questions. all of them were familiar with the case the riots and the multi-million dollar settlement that went to the gray family. lawyers argued it will be impossible to find an impartial jury in baltimore. >> reporter: attorneys said it will be impossible in baltimore. porter has pleaded not guilty. guidelines for officer-worn body cameras. one key issue, who should be able to view the videos and when. santa clara is the latest bay area police department to outfit officers with cameras. in the case of an officer involved shooting there officers will have to give a statement from memory before they are allowed to view their own footage. >> you have different perspectives, right? and the police officers are going to say i saw this, i saw

morning long. hi everybody. at this lunch hour let's look at some of the temperatures in and around the area. it was cold overnight and yes indeed, it dropped down to the freezing point, so says our weather watcher dana, who is so efficient. some of the temperatures now around the bay area, 45 degrees. so says bill moon in san jose, currently 53. and thanks mike for checking in with us. and yes, we have had rain and it is still raining in some portions of the bay area it is live, our hi def doppler radar. whenever you see the green on the screen, that is a good thing. all this is moving through very rapidly toward cross valley and will end up as snow. right now we have a cell right now, moving out of the 85-86 corridor. by the time i queue it up it is out of here. this is very light rainfall.

and right now, our temperatures are pretty much in the 40s to 50 degrees. here's what you need to know. we have the gray skies. we have a brief sprinkle. we do have partly cloudy conditions tonight and because of those clouds, it serves kind of like a blanket over the bay area, so it won't be as cold tonight as it has been in recent nights. next storm, it is ready to arrive and it will move into the bay area thursday. this is really a pretty, pretty storm. albeit weak. it is an area of low pressure. as the front moves through, it gradually falls apart at the seems. futurecast did allude to the fact that it would push through and it is, right now, a very light rainfall. generally less than 500ths of an inch. it is welcome. we have the clouds filling in
