good evening, i'm maria meda in for juliette goodrich. i'm brian hackney. the crash happened at the intersection of po treets in pacific tour bus tragedy, a man his head and killed on a san francisco streets. the crash happened in pacific heights and we are told the man was in the crosswalk at the time. mark kelly is at the scene.

mark? >> reporter: investigators have had this blog taped off for most of the day. and you can see the tape is now down and the street is back open. but it appears that this is the crosswalk where that victim was struck and killed. police blocked off the area around the back of the bus where the victim's body was pinned. he was pronounced dead at the scene but the could not put out any other details. no one else was injured and the bus driver and their employers are cooperating. >> it's too early to know how fast the bus was going, if it ran a red light or if it was giving a tour when the accident happened.

but police are hopeful that some of the video will hopefully create a clearer picture as to what happened this afternoon. >> a couple of months ago, a tour bus slammed into scaffolding and injured more than 20 people. the driver says that breaks went out and caused him to lose control. the chp said that the bus was never inspected because the company that operates the bus never registered it. a man is among four hostages released today in a prisoner swap. and we have the details on deal that ended 400 days for him in prison. he will be flown on a swiss aircraft and will be taking to germany for medical treatment. >> reporter: free at last, the

journalist can finally go home. gina was jason's neighbor for many years. >> she was jason from across the street. >> reporter: he is a native who up here and graduated here. gina said their families were good friends and when she heard he was being held prisoner, she was heartbroken. >> being so close to that family, it seemed like it would never end. there were so many possibilities of when it should have ended and it did. >> reporter: the deal was a swap of four americans being held prisoner in exchange for seven prisoners charged in the united states. they also dropped arrest notices and charges for 14 other

people. >> they should be on their way home to their families before long. >> the swap was announced hours before the united nations nuclear watchdog, the international atomic energy agency that certified that iran had met commitments as part of a nuclear deal with six world powers. >> iran has undertaken significant steps that many people doubted could ever come to pass. >> they expect to be on the plane and his brother is on his way to europe to have that family reunion. >> and another hostage and california resident tweeted that there is nothing like the feeling of touching down after years of captivity. he was impressed - - imprisoned with his girlfriend in 2009.

- after evidence showed that he did not kill the woman. a california man caught on camera attacking in uber driver. and now a second battle with the victim this time off the camera, this is video of benjamin goldin hitting the uber driver in southern california. the video quickly went viral effort it was learned the suspect was a taco bell executive. now he is fighting back and countersuing the driver, claiming that he was illegally being recorded. he also claims because of the media coverage he covered - - suffered from humiliation and the loss of his job. apparently helicopters went down over the coast of the wahoo

we will increase clouds tonight and we will get walloped pretty well tomorrow. at 7:00 the rain will begin to fall. it will sink to the south in the bay area so by tomorrow, rain will be scattered around the bed. it packs a good punch and moves into the south bay on monday night. and then tuesday we get hit with another system moving into the bay area and that looks fairly robust as well. just to give you a general idea north and south, i monday evening, at 6:00, the suggestion is that we pick up to .1 for - - two and a quarter inches of rain. more rain in the north bay. more than 3 inches in santa rosa. not so much in the santa clara

valley. in the headlines, showers will ease up and more rain tomorrow, that will spread south with a wet night ahead. tides are possible with swells up to about 20 feet. be careful as you move into the coast. the snow should be coming down tomorrow afternoon. the overnight low is on the mild side. tomorrow we have overcast skies and it is spreading south. in the extended forecast, rain tomorrow, a break on monday, more rain on tuesday, and on friday, and it gets a chance to dry. that is weather. >> now i know why it is so green.
