what was once a white sedan. police are confirming three dead here at this intersection. a spokesperson tells me this all started with a brief police chase at fifth and bryant. the officer began to follow the car and that car started racing through red lights and chp called off the pursuit but within seconds, they saw the car crash into a taxi and burst into flames. >> the whole car burst into flames. there was no movement and no sound of those people there. we could not help them, there was nothing that we could do. >> witnesses say a car with three women stopped. and one tire and then another exploded.
