to go, you know. >> reporter: it will take months to fix the damaged trains. separate and apart from that they would like to restart service between the two stations as soon as possible. but first they have to find out what's making the voltage spike. for the rest of the universe that will take their train that they could have some delays related to all of this. reporting live i'm joe vazquez cbs5 news. the number of crashes on the south bay highway is the high that's it has been in ten years. that they responded to nearly 200 crashes.

i thought maybe somebody would have crashed into the station. dead with blood on their shirts. they first found that around 7:00 this morning when they were leaving for a call that they believe that they could have been parked in the driveway any time since the most recent call three hours earlier. the victim was 51 years old and that they do not show foul play. but the autopsy this week that it is expected to give more clues as to how a man ended up dead in front of the fire house. in oakley mark kelly cbs5. the victim may have had some sort of medical condition.

an early morning fire forced 13 people out of their south bay homes. that it spread from the shed to two homes that everyone made it out okay and that the homes, they do have smoke damage and no word on what would cause that fire. tonight president obama is in the middle of the historic family. even taking the walking tour of old havana today in the rain as they would see it as a way to solve that icy diplomatic relations that they have had for more than 50 years. it's a soar opportunity to engage with the cuban people and to force no cuban deals to build new ties between our two people and that for me to lay out my vision for the future that will be brighter than our path. >> reporter: this trip is scheduled to wrap up on tuesday and on this visit that the president and the first lady

mourning the death of a mare killed in iraq. the department of defense ss 27-year-old staff sergeant s cardin of temecula, died yesterday after his unit wat by rocket fire. he was based at camp lejeune. this is the first death of s service member in iraq since last october. to campaign 2016 now... and next round of contests in t race for the presidential nominations. on tuesday, s will caucus well on to campaign 2016 now and the race for the presidential nominations. on tuesday that the democrats, they will caucus in idaho and that voters on both sides will head to the polls in utah and arizona. and now 58 delegates are at

just widely scattered sometimes fairly decent showers coming down during the day on monday. they will begin to dry out as they do not show a whole heck of a lot. but nevertheless that we'll add to the rain totals over the past couple of weeks. in general that they will begin to cool wet and with more rain in the north bay and the south. warmer weather will return by thursday and the in your opinions by the weekend in the lower 70s. snow out there for the tahoe rain freeze in the yosemite and up at redding. overnight lows with a few scattered showers. sun up tomorrow morning, few low 50s. the temperatures in the lower 60s. out in the east bay with scattered showers, pretty good downpour at times, including the north bay with the numbers in the lower 60s, with the rain tomorrow. and then increasing sunshine, well, not a lot in the way of
