the home where the man was barricaded. they got out okay and may have known the suspect. no information is being released about the man's identity or what set him off. a traffic alert now. a stretch of i-80 through parts of richmond and san pablo is closed. caltrans is working on the first phase of the i-80 interchange comruchlt project. detours until 7:00 am tomorrow. bay area teams hit the streets to spot people driving under the influence. the lessons officers hope they'll learn before it's too late. >> reporter: it's saturday night in san bruno. 17-year-old juan nzñez instead of partying with friends is take ache ride in a police cruiser. he isn't in trouble but learning about the consequences of driving under the influence.

he wasn't injured. his smothered in jail facing a list of charges. police are looking for a man they say sexually assaulted a teenaged girl earlier this week. they say the suspect may have scratches on his face or neck from struggling with the victim. a plane ends up upside down in a central valley vineyard and everyone walks away. one of the survivors talks about the harrowing plunge. >> reporter: he can't believe his alive. the cessna was up for just a couple minute when is it experienced engine trouble, flipped over and nose-dived into a vineyard. he knew the plane was going down. it was a matter of preparing for impact. >> my first impression after we realized that everybody was

grounds. 20 people were already inside the basket. one woman went to the hospital with minor injuries. eight people were killed when their tour bus crashed in texas near laredo. the driver lost control of the bus and it read over. it was raining at the time. 44 others were taken to the hospital. a prom night they'll never forget, for the wrong reasons. their limo caught fire. ten teens were on board. flames started shooting from the passenger see the. smoke filled the limo and the fire spread to the roof. the driver tried to put it out with his jacket. >> i took my jacket, i tried tow seeing what's going on. >> everyone was able to get it out safely, even made it to the prom. no word on what sparked
