put infrared sensors on all squad cars. they would scan license plate and compare them to a stolen car database. fire danger tonight all around the state. and here in the bay area, three brush fires broke out along i-580 near livermore. the highways had to be shut down as firefighters battled the flames. more than 200 acres burned. a grass fire near highway 4 and willow pass road in concord. the fire came close to some businesses in the area as well. no structures were damaged. no word on how it started. the heat in california has been fairly unrelenting of conduce testify fires, and that's what's happened. a new discovery in the rubble of the

biggest wildfire burning in california right now. search teams believe they may have found the body of a third victim. the fire near bakersfield destroyed at least 150 homes since thursday. >> reporter: this is now considered a homicide investigation, standard for this type of situation. remains were found earlier tonight. where we are is one of the areas that was hit the hardest by this fire. it was mostly all mobile homes. they mainly burned to the ground. piles of rubble and ash. about 100 firefighting personnel are working on this fire. there is 0% containment. sarah of lake isabella says crime scene

investigators were swarming a fire-ravaged property earlier tonight, collecting burned bodily remains. this hotspot continued to flare up just feet away. >> they came down here asking us if we knew who she was. because they didn't have any record of her. >> they told you this was -- >> a human, yes. >> reporter: at a community my beforehand, the kern county sheriff's department acknowledged a discovery. but thereof at that. >> we have not determined at this point whether the remains that were found this afternoon are human remains. >> reporter: this comes after two lives were lost in a nearby area of mountain mesa. fire continues to burn uncontrollably uncontrollably. for michael and his father, a few pans and knife, all that made it. >> i'm okay.

the fire started? >> reporter: the fire broke out on thursday. arson was suspected but they still don't know the cause. members from several bay area fire crews are providing mutual aid. a fire threatened dozens of homes in antioch today. in the end, one was destroyed. the fire sparked grass nearby. four other homes were damaged. no one was hurt. this what's left of a house that burned. investigators are looking for the cause of that fire. neighbors on edge after spotting rattlesnakes in their backyard. rattlesnakes in >> this is one right here of >> reporter: not one but two rattlesnakes in her san carlos backyard. >> sitting right there all coiled up. >> reporter: she was close enough to snap a photo.

into a new habitat when she climbed over a fence and off she went. she hung out near a wolverine exhibit, jumped over a wooden barrier. that prompted a lockdown at the zoo. workers trapped her inside a building and got her back home. a shark alert at a popular beach in pacifica. warning signs are up after someone spotted a great white shark in the water yesterday. police also posted an alert on social media. as you can see, surfers don't seem to be all that worried. beach goers are urged to be careful and stay aware of their surroundings. the warning signs will be up for at least a couple of days. and you will need nerves of steal to handle southern california's newest tourist attraction. a sky slide, it hovers nearly 1,000 feet in the air in downtown l.a.. riders slide down from the 73rd floor to the 69th on just a sheet of
