minnesota. his girlfriend was in the car he was driving. her young daughter was in the back seat when they were pulled over. a live stream video streamed by his girlfriend on facebook appears to show the incident after the shooting and we want to warn you, this is graphic material. >> you killed my boyfriend. >> reporter: diamond reynolds says her boyfriend kacastille was carrying a licensed handgun when they were pulled over. >> he let the officer know that he was -- he had a firearm and he was reaching for his wallet and the officer just shot him in his arm. >> reporter: the video shows castille slumped over in the front seat and his shirt good blooy as the police officer points his weapon through the window. >> i told him to get his head out. >> you told him to get his i.d. sir, and his driver's license. >> reporter: reynolds says the officer opened fire as castille was following the officer's instructions. >> you shot four bull it's into

apprehension has been called in to investigate. another deadly. the day before is sparking outrage. a black man was killed by white officers in baton rouge, louisiana. alton stergling was shot while he scuffled with police. hena daniels has more from new york. >> reporter: crowds remain outside the triple s convenience store in baton rouge wednesday night. long after the vigil honoring alton sterling had ended. state represent was among those who spoke just feet from where he was shot and killed by police. >> some people say we couldn't come out here without burning up our own building without tipping over our feet but this is baton rouge, louisiana jam! >> reporter: many of those expressed anger of the footage online. the latest one taken by the convenience store owner, shows sterling being shot multiple

times as officers pinned him to the ground. >> i'm mad because they took my son! i'll never ever get him back! >> reporter: a law enforcement office says they recovered a gun from sterling after the shooting but the family proves the video proves his life was snatched unfairly. >> the officers involved in his shooting took away a man with children who depended upon their daddy on a daily basis. >> reporter: federal investigators plan to review videos and speak to witnesses as part of their probe. demonstrators say they won't stop demonstrating until justice is served. hena daniels, cbs news. the investigation into hillary clinton's use of private e-mail servers is officially closed but fbi director james comey is under fire following the decision not to prosecute. he'll face tough questions today on capitol hill. meanwhile, clinton and donald trump pulled no punches on the campaign trail. craig boswell reports.

>> reporter: gop presumptive nominee donald trump campaigned in ohio with former house speaker newt gingrich who is on the list for possible vice presidential picks. >> in one form or another, newt gingrich is going to be involved with our government. >> reporter: trump renewed his attacks on opponent hillary clinton over her e-mail scandal. >> hillary clinton claims that the reason for her illegal use of a private insecure e-mail was that it was more convenient to use just one device. oh. >> reporter: earlier, clinton stood in front of a shuddered trump casino in atlantic and secured the businessman for his business practices. >> donald trump doesn't think going bankrupt is a big deal but it's devastating if you're someone who plays by the rules. >> reporter: the attorney general accepted the fbi's recommendation and closed the case on clinton's e-mails. but house republicans aren't satisfied. the house oversight committee is summoning fbi director james comey to the hill thursday. >> we want to know why they are

not going to prosecute. everything that doctor comey said would lead you to believe she did violate the law. >> reporter: a clinton aide tweeted that the government continues to play politics. donald trump says his campaign should not have deleted a tweet containing an image some consider anti-semitic. it contained an imageage that had appeared on a white supremacist website. yesterday trump said the star is just a star and not the star of david. later, he tweeted a coloring book for "frozen" that featured a red star. trump said where is the outrage? hillary clinton nished a higher education initiative to help with college tuition. her proposal allows some fams to pay no tuition at instate colleges and public universities. bernie sanders called it a bold initiative. it means the dream for higher education for all will become a

heading for the international space station. u.s. astronaut kate freeman and crew mates from russia and japan lifted off this morning from kazakhstan. their craft will reach the space station on saturday and they will spend four months in orbit. another crash involving tesla's autopilot is under investigation. a look at donald trump's donations to charity. those are some of the headlines on the morning newsstand. "the washington post" is reporting eric trump's defense of his father's generosity. he says his father gives millions of his money to charity but declined to offer proof. among 200 charities with ties to donald trump, "the post" only found one donation worth less than $10,000. the sun sentinel reports on the 911 calls a florida officer made the night he fatally shot a a stranded motorist. >> i came out. i saw him come out with a handgun. i gave him a command. he turned the gun and pointed at me and i started running.

i shot him. >> he was waiting for a tow truck last october and was unarmed. newman raja, the officer, is under house arrest on a manslaughter charge. "the dallas morning news" reports the filing of a 10 million dollar lawsuit against american airlines. the family of a 13-year-old girl says she was groped while traveling alone last month on an american flight. the suit claims the flight crew let it go on for a half hour before intervening. the "los angeles times" reports the investigation of another crash involving tesla's autopilot feature. government safety officials want to know if the feature was engaged when a driver was hurt six days ago. a driver use tesla's assisted driving feature was killed in a crash two months ago. the standard journal of idaho reports that a former tv cop is now a real-life police officer. "chips" star erik estrada is a reserve officer for a small eastern idaho town. he'll focus on protecting children from internet predators. the star tribune reports the

on the cbs "moneywatch," snapchat lets you save some of your special memories. and starbucks is caught overcharging. jill wagner is at the new york stock exchange with that and more. good morning, jill. >> good morning. federal reserve policymakers aren't ready to raise interest rates again just yet. minutes from the fed's last policy meeting in june showed some uncertainty that the outlook for the u.s. economy and worry about the upcoming brexit vote last month. last month, the fed voted 10-0 to leave the interest rate unchanged. they were affected by the weak may jobs report. the june jobs report comes out tomorrow. on wall street, stocks finished higher yesterday. the dow gained 78 points. the s&p rose 11. the nasdaq added 36. if you're a starbucks customer you may have paid a little extra last week. starbucks is raising prices next week by as much as 30 cents.

last week, that price hike was prematurely entered into its computer system. if you think you were overcharged, you can call starbucks customer service. snapchat is introducing a new feature. memories. it lets users save pictures. this is a big change for snapchat. photos and videos used to be deleted 24 hours after they were posted. memories work like a holding bin for photos and videos which you can protect with a pass code. walmart says its smartphone payment app is up and running in all of its stores. walmart pay lets customers check out in stores by opening up the app and scanning a code at the payment terminal. it works with any major credit and debit card and allow customers to build shopping lists based on previous purchases. chipotle is out with a new message delivered in a form in it animated film. a love story is about two young children who operate rival food stands, but their competition

well, nba free agency is keeping uniform makers busy. the latest star to change teams is dwyane wade of the heat. he is ending his 13-year run in miami to join the bulls. wade, a chicago native, got a two-year deal worth $47 million. the risk of fire is prompting a recall of hoverboards. government safety officials blame the batteries. weijia jiang reports. >> reporter: hoverboard fires like this one at a houston mall in december sparked a major recall. >> if you own a hoverboard, please stop using it immediately. >> reporter: elliott kay, chairman of the u.s. consumer product safety commission, says more than 500,000 are being recalled. >> hoverboard is on fire. >> reporter: the agency has received dozens of reports of batteries inside catching on fire or exploding.
