police arrived in an alleyway between the hyatt hotel and the parking lot. they found a man lying on the sidewalk. they tried to revive him but he died of gunshot wound.>> this was not a random act. we believe he was targeted.>> reporter: they believe he was visiting a registered guest. >> he may have been there for a while, but he was visiting a guest. they say the government got away. >> he was visiting a guest and we do not believe the guest was a suspect. we have to explore all possibilities at this point.>> reporter: victims -- police are not identifying the victim, he's in his late 20s but we cannot confirm identity. seven men are injured.

just before midnight on bancroft avenue near the oakland zoo. police received a report of gunshot and a her more shots nearby. no officers were hurt but they found seven victims all of whom were taken to the hospital. investigators detained one suspect but no arrests. in a south bay as shooting killed a woman. to victims were found 630 this morning. both were alive at the woman later died. police are interviewing people who saw or heard the shooting. it is san jose's 40th homicide. tesla will be the topic of fremont. the electric car company long- range plans. tesla wants to add more than or teen million near mission boulevard. they said the expansion will add 3100 jobs. if the city gives a green light, the company could
