president obama heads to capitol hill to see what he can do to save his achievement. weijia jiang, capitol hill. >> most republicans are hoping to down size social security and medicare as they seek to shrink the budget. that comes as mr. trump is warning u.s. auto makers he plans to impose stiff taxes on cars made in mexico, and shipped to america. mr. trump tweeted out a warning to u.s. auto makers saying make the chevrolet cruise in the u.s. or face a heavy tax. the gm did respond stating the cruise sedan model is made out of ohio, but the hatchback is built in new mexico from a global market and a small number are sold in the u.s. stories are escalating -- th , he and the team is expected to decide whether to have his new museum in -- he plans to spend $1 billion on the museum.

and today.. disturbing video has emerged of the suspect. a manhunt continues today for a gunman that killed 39 people at a turkey nightclub, and today disturbing video has emerged of the suspect. officials says this selfie video shows the suspect gunman touring istanbul's most famous square. it's not clear when it was taken or how it was found. surveillance video outside the nightclub shows a bouncer and another man ducking to the ground as the attacker stormed passed them firing his weapon. a man from delaware was among the nearly 70 injured. >> these crazy people came shooting up [indiscernible]. i don't know. i saw one. they're shooting. >> isis who d responsibility for the

attack says the gunman was an individualing turkey's -- new drone video shows destruction after a tornado. it brought down trees, damaged homes and destroyed a barn. the national weather service says more than a dozen tornado have been spotted in georgia, and mississippi. in southeast alabama, four people were killed last night when a tree fell on their mobile home. in addition to the four deaths in alabama, authorities in florida blamed the severe storms for the death of a 70-year-old man whose car was found partially submerged in the flooding. right now, schools are closed as of cleanup begins. here in the bay area, wind and rain is making for yet another wet day. taking a live look outside and at high depth doppler. the storm is moving through right now making ace mess for those hitting the road. we're tracking how long you need to keep those umbrellas out. tara -- >> we have a series of

storms taking -- this is what we have been hoping for of the past several years. this is a live weather camera looking at the bay bridge where we have rain drops on the camera and i want to put together totals. an inch of rain has accumulated. this literately just came down from the national weather service. a flash flood watch for the santa cruz mountains. this highlighted area doesn't encompass areas so we're talking about the potential of three to five inches of rain by thursday morning. live doppler radar -- when you see the areas of yellow, that's the heaviest of rainfall. on american canyon, we're seeing cell around highway 12 indicating that heavy rain all the way towards fairfield. look at the east bay. anywhere from richmond around 123 to berkeley, 880, you have heavy rainfall. anywhere you go today, the rain is going to intensify.

that's your evening commute saturated. overnight, raining hard. tomorrow morning could build into the afternoon hours and rain in the forecast. we begin to see a break and we'll need it on thursday and friday in order to dry out. just about two inches of rain everywhere across the bay area, but three to five on all south coastal beaches from santa cruz to monta ray. as far as your snow is concerned, we can see four or five, maybe six feet of snow, and winter warning effect in warning for the high sierra. our temperatures in the 50s across the border. by the time the sunsets, who cares, you're not going to see it. it's a rain for the evening commute with windy conditions and a break thursday, and friday and new storm friday night through the weekend into monday. right now, crews are surveying the snow pack near lake tahoe. it's the first measurement by hand. when crews check the snow measures, the water content was at 72% of normal which was below what were we were standing at last season, so we have a little catch up.
