michelle have the day off. jessica flores is live with the latest. jessica. >>reporter: the fbi have been iw the family is included to the north club shooter. neighbors heard the commotion. that's when the fbi arrested her at the home behind me -- i want to read you what it says. it says i'm glad to see that omar mateen's wife has been charged with aiding and abetting her husband in the commission of the brutal attack on the pulse nightclub. she'll be charged with obstruction of justice. according to jail records, she was arrested on suspicion of tampering with a witness. she's head in jail at douglas. gunman mateen in 2013 -- they had a young son together. mateen died in a shootout with police after he killed 49 people inside of the pulse nightclub. she was interviewed after the

nightclub shooting but not charged: we heard from her neighbors whod the mother and her son -- take a listen. >> very quiet. you don't see problems at all. so the blinds were always [indiscernible]. she leaves at 8:00 in the morning. comes back at 6:00, 7:00 at night. that neighbor tells me he's concerned about the couple's young son and what will happen once his mom returns to florida. the u.s. attors office tweeted that someone will make her first appearance at the courthouse in oak land. that will happen tomorrow and orioles police tweeted great i will to our federal partners for their investigation and -- grateful to our federal partners for their investigation -- live from rodeo. >> i have a dream today.

the plane's stopped in kyrgzstan -- a manhunt for a man who killed people inside of a -- that's video from inside the club as gunfire erupted. 12 people were wounded and the blue parrot was hosting an event apart of the music festival. more bay area has [indiscernible] the search for the person who opened fire on the east bay freeway continues. it happened after 5:00 in concord north of salida way. the police shut down -- while they investigated that shooting. they that somebody shot at two men who were in a black mercedes. one man was hit, but he's going to be okay. a deputy is locked up without bail after opening fire -- police say 23-year-old kyle roland was at a party in sacramento on

friday night and an argument escalated into gunfire. nobody else was hit. party goers fought back and penned him down until officers arrived and we're told roland had been with the sheriff's department for a couple of months and was on probationary status. he was immediately fired after the shooting. this afternoon, a battle over a well-known restaurant and bar heats up. >> nick bovus who is he's the owner of -- he's planning to hold a news conference to launch a new restaurant. he plans to address legal issues he's facing with his current landlord. that landlord claims the business and the memorable belongs to him. still ahead, who needs [indiscernible]. critics spoke, but sells are painting a different picture when it comes to apple's wireless head phones. a massive sinkhole is shutting down a busy bay area interception. how long it could take to make

re-route. the pavement collapsed on "edgemar" avenue by hi just a right now, in pacifica, this sinkhole shut down a busy interception forcing drivers to reroute. it collapsed by highway -- it holds 15 feet deep and the fire station in merit church. another sinkhole opened up a few months ago. this is three times its size. it's not clear when repair work will begin on that sinkhole. right now, millions of americans are dealing with dangerous winter weather after a deadly ice storm

slammed the plains and midwest. ice and winter storms are in place from new mexico to iowa and winter weather advisories stretching into parts of the northeast. omar shows us the conditions in wood word oklahoma. >> orioles night storms pounded texas bringing heavy rains, flooding and tornado. >> woe. >> two touched down south of dallas. heavy winds near one damaged a hanger at the grand prairie airport. further north, ice, more than inch thick crippled the midwest crushing trees, cracking power lines, and disabling cars. >> they covered up my pickup and covered up our car and covered up the neighbor's van. just [indiscernible] every since. >> the region has been under assault since friday battled by freezing rain and snow leaving thousands without power. on the roads, crews worked over

time clearing ice and snow. >> there goes another one. >> the ice storm devastates highways leaving -- a kansas trooper made a narrow escape after a semi-tractor-trailer loses control on an icy road. two injuries were reported in the 20 car pileup near downtown wichita. in nebraska, two semis crashed on interstate 80 causing one to erupt in a fiery blaze. icy -- over 100 flights were delayed or cancelled due to the storm. there is more rain in the forecast for some of the effected areas, but the good news is, it should remain above freezing for a good portion of the day which will hopefully help melt all of the ice. omar viavonscu, oklahoma. >> the flames killed 6 people. closer to home,
