phone app to help people find their ear pods. it can track down the tiny $159 ear pods. they're easy to miss place because they are no longer tethered to the phone with a wire. that will come in handy. on the "cbs moneywatch," toyota announces a major u.s. expansion and mcdonald's bottles its special sauce. hena daniels is here in new york with that and more. good morning, hena. >> good morning, anne-marie. mining, energy companies, and financial stocks led big gains on wall street. the s&p and nasdaq hit all-time highs. the dow jones average climb 112, the s&p gained 14, and the nasdaq added 48. toyota says it's adding 400 jobs at its indiana plant. the jobs are part of a plan to invest $10 billion in u.s. operations announced earlier this month. the plan produce suvs. the announcement comes as trump focuses on protectionist trade policies.

yesterday the president reiterated his plans to impose a tax on those manufacturing out of the country. the federal debt is expected to grow by $10 trillion over the next ten years. the nonpartisan congressional office said the deficit is expected to shrink this year and next before starting to increase. controlling federal debt was a for kpanl issu for donald trump while at the same time lowering taxes and spending. frito-lays is offering the limited edition party-safe bag. it's equipped with a sensor that detects small traces of alcohol on a person's breath. and if you're a big mac's fan, mcdonald's is giving away 10,000 bottles of big mac sauce. they'll be available at participating restaurants around the country starting january 26th. it's part of a promotion where they're offering big macs in two
