congress where he said a draft of the republican reform prop e proposal is being kept. paul says the new measure does not go far enough to repeal obamacare. turns out paul had the wrong room. he was standing outside someone's office. vice president mike pence told a group of ohio businessmen the trump administration will repeal and replace obamacare. >> the american people know the truth. obamacare has failed and obamacare must go. this failed law is crippling the economy and putting an enormous weight on american families. >> pence said the affordable care act placed a heavy financial burden on small businesses. it's reported that vice president pence used a private e-mail account to conduct state business when he was indiana governor and it was hacked. "the indianapolis star" reports pence used his personal aol account to communicate with advisers on homeland security matters among other things. the account was hacked last spring before he was chosen to join the gop ticket. pence frequently criticized

hillary clinton's use of a private e-mail account when she was secretary of state. two more of president trump's cabinet nominees have been confirmed. the senate confirmed ben carson, secretary of housing and urban development, and former texas governor rick perry as energy secretary. in the past perry had said he would do away with the didn't of energy. president trump used america's newest aircraft carrier as a backdrop to make his case for a military buildup. in his budget proposal, the president wants to add $54 billion to defense spending to, in his words, project american power in distant lands. david martin reports. >> reporter: nothing symbolizes american military mite more than an aircraft carrier, which is why president trump went aboard the navy's newest carrier, the "gerald r. ford" to support the

sleeping in his truck, was startled, and drove away. video shows the deputies tased him and put him to the ground. one deputy put his knee on dyksma's neck. nearly 40 seconds passed. the county's district attorney is investigating. >> the case of vandalism at a jewish cemetery in new york is being investigated as a hate crime. more than a dozen headstones were overturned at a cemetery in rochester. this is the third known case of a jewish cemetery being vandalized in the past two weeks. tuesday marks the 52nd anniversary of a critical moment in the civil rights struggle. the 1956 march over the pettus bridge in alabama became known as bloody sunday. some 600 civil rights demonstrators marching to the state's capitol were attacked by coming up on the "cbs

our tom story this morning attorney general jeff sessions attorney general jeff sessions agreed to recuse himself from any investigation into alleged russian meddling in the u.s. election. during his confirmation hearing sessions failed to mention that during the campaign he met twice with the russian ambassador. the latest installment of the series, "living stronger," looks at a texas officer who lives life to the fullest by embodying the spirit of the law. omar villafranca caught up with him. >> reporter: when officer arthur parker directs traffic in front of clark high school in plano, texas, the 57-year-old keeps the cars and his body moving, surprising some drivers.
