i thought it was a clear victory, you know. but danny he came to fight, so if a judge likes his fight style they didn't like that i was moving backwards, i understand. but overall you heard the scorecard, there was a wide spread, and i knew when it would split and i heard that wide spread that it had to go to me. this is your boy keith "one time" thurman, and still champion of the world. one time became two times, baby. ain't no robberies happening tonight. >> to unify this title and to do it. but in the later rounds, did you feel you were far enough ahead and gave some of those rounds away and almost by the basis of this split decision 115-113 on the card to win, might have given this fight away? >> not give it away. if there was anything, it would have been closer to a draw. you know, but i was not giving the fight away. we-- it was, like-- it was like winning the race fast start, you know. i felt like we had a nice lead. we could cool down. my boxes said, "box, box, box. you're giving him a hard time." and i felt like that.

i felt like we were controlling the three-minute intervals in each and every single round. he was attack. there were times he was throwing more punchs. my defense was effective. he wasn't landing very clearly anything. there were some tough rounds to score, but in the end of the day i knew that i did what i had to win to have the victory we had tonight. i want to dedicate this win and all my accomplishments to my original trainer ben getty. ben gety, i love you. thank you for believing in me before anyone believed in me so i could be here on this stage in front of this arena right here. you gave me a life i can only dream of, and we're living it right now. thank you, rest in peace. >> let's bring in danny. danny, what are your thoughts on this split decision? and getting the short end of it. >> first of all, i want to thank god. i want to thank my team, angel garcia, premiere boxing champion, cbs, for giving me opportunity to showcase my shilz and unify another division. i came up short tonight. i gave it my all. i thought i was the aggressor.

clash with supporters of president donald trump. good eve a rally in berkeley as protestors clash with supporters. i'm brian. >> and i'm juliette. first we begin with breaking news with explosion and fire at the bart station. in this video posted on instagram, you can see the flames below the boarding platform. we're told this all started about 5:40, an electrical vault at the north end of the station. right now we know of no injuries. firefighters were able to contain the fire quickly but couldn't extinguished it until electricians came and shut off

the power in the vault. this video taken by the fire department, you can get a closer look at the flames from the smoke rising up to the platform. service between rock ridge and pleasant hill is restored. contra costa fire also taking these pictures that show the train stopped on the tracks just outside the station as many as 300 passengers were stuck on board, but within the hour the train was able to pull up to the platform and let people off. at least ten people under arrest after violence broke out at a pro trump rally in berkeley. several people ended up with cuts on their heads and faces. >> reporter: very dangerous covering this story. there were fights all around us. aside from punches, people were throwing rocks and bottles. one guy even had a knife.

it was like a seen at a fight club. instead of a political rally, trump supporters and anti-protestors fighting it out. sometimes it was one on one. other times large groups of people punching, kicked and beating each other with sticks. there were so many fights, we lost count. both sides had injuries. we saw people with bloody noses and faces. >> i was expecting when i came here, i knew full well that there might be some stuff popping up. >> reporter: it started around 2:00 in the afternoon. luckily 60 trump supporters showed their support for the president. close to 200 anti-trump protestors tried to disrupt the rally. >> no fighting.

>> reporter: it started with yelling, but quickly turned violent. >> reporter: some instigate ers used pepper spray. other threw smoke canisters into the crowd. the chaos lasted for several hours. >> this is a sad day and we're better than this. >> reporter: a sad day indeed. because what we saw -- they treated several people for injuries and we saw a lot more people that declined treatment. live in berkeley, i'm da lin. >> before the fights broke out trump supporters said they were determined to assert their free

speech rights. >> we tend to ignore these hot beds like berkeley and it gross and gross. it's turning into something awful. and i think it's important that we address the issue and not run away from this intimidation factor. >> police officers standing by did not intervene in the individual fights. andrea borba joins us. >> reporter: this is what they were going to do. this is how they were going to handle this test as they followed the protocol. police were surrounding martin luther king junior civic park for most of the afternoon while fights were happening. officers were only intervening where there was a perceived victim. in the altercation where there was no victim, was treated as a misdemeanor battery situation.

occasionally egg throwing developed, the tactics appeared to be isolated troublemakers. our camera caught a few of those arrests like this one. >> we were walking away from the protest and they started following us for no reason. so we started running and they decided to pull over my friend. and she just started running and it took like seven of them to take her down for no reason. we were walking away. so i'm trying to figure out what they got her on. >> that's andrea borba reporting. there were ten arrests. supporters of trump, people listened to pro trump speakers and they marched to a park across the white house. in new york city a couple people braved the cold. police kept that demonstration confined to an area between barricades where people held up flags and signs expressing support for mr. trump. in ohio arguments

broke out near the state house in columbus. larger groups chanted competing slogans some for the president, some against. critics of the president making their opinions known on the san diego beach, hundreds of people staged a public art event spelling out the word impeach with their bodies. after a while they regrouped and spelled out resist. the organizers also registered voters in preparation for next year's midterm elections. a similar protest was held on san francisco's ocean beach last month where thousands of people spelled out the words resist on the sand. president trump is working from his winter white house in florida this weekend. but as cbs reports, he's making some serious allegations against his predecessor. >> reporter: the president waves to his supporters hours after mr. trump fired off four tweets

accusing president obama of wiring tapping trump. this is nixon water gate, bad or sick guy. >> reporter: president trump wrote the wire tapping happened here but offered no evidence. the tweets follow a story published friday detailing similar claims of obama surveilling trump. a spokesman for the former president responded in part, neither president obama or any white house official ever ordered surveillance on any u.s. citizen. any suggestion otherwise is simply false >> it would be the biggest political scandal since water gate. >> reporter: public an senator lindsay graham said illegally wire tapping trump would be troubling but he said it would be equally concerning if trump was legally surveilled. that could mean there would be evidence between the trump campaign and foreign government. >> it's my job as the united states senator to get to the

here walnut creek in danville, widely scattered wet tonight and gusty winds. those winds about 30 miles per hour and showers moving through central san francisco right now. what happens next, well, a little bit more of the same as we continue to get that low pressure sending bands of moisture over the bay area it will be wet tonight. volunteers are busy cleaning up the mess left behind by the devastating floods in san jose. 350 people were out in city parks today removing mud, branches and debris. at the height of the flood kelly park was under six feet of water. a park manager told us the hardest part of the recovery is finding the resources. >> volunteers are so important to us. it's just been -- it's hard for me to talk about it without getting emotional. without their help, it's an overwhelming task for staff to try to do it with our own resources. >> the city is organizing more
