today or tomorrow. kpix 5. at least two suspects on the loose after home invasion late last night in the bayview district. police were able to catch up to one other suspect and arrest him. one person escaped the house on the 2100 block and called police. when officers arrived, several people scrambled out the back door of the house. one fired at the officers. officers fired back but no one was hit. >> the suspect fled over fences and through adjoining backyards . the officers issued a foot pursuit. one of the suspects was detained, the other suspects continue to flee. >> police were on the scene about six hours interviewing and collecting under -- collecting evidence. 90 deputy district attorney's deciding weather the district attorney of contra costa county will keep his job

after spending $66,000 on personal expenses. the grand jury already recommended ousting mark peterson and the district attorney association voted unanimously it had no confidence in him. now it's up to the entire union membership weather or not he'll stay in his position. a san jose state university football player in the hospital after being stabbed early sunday morning. few details have been released so far that we are told someone flagged down police about the stabbing around 1:00 a.m. that's where miller was found suffering from at least one stab wound. police have not identified any suspects. miller is expected to recover. no sign yet of a missing voter in pittsburgh. the 59- year-old man from fail field reportedly fishing off the pittsburgh marina saturday when his son fell in the water

initially. he jumped in after him and got the child to safety but the man did not get back to the boat. >> we found that as the search continued on that they were found to be safe. they were treated and trties for further evaluation and we are currently in an active search for the fourth boulder. >> the man and his son were not wearing life jackets. a union city man charged with multiple counts of attempted arson after witnesses say he tried to burn down a hayward denny's. police say victor rubio was eating dinner at the restaurant last week. he started spraying what appeared to be lighter fluid on other diners, including a child. he then poured the fluid on the ground outside the restaurant and tried to light it. several people tackled him before any damage was done. today president trump is in israel for the second stop of his nine day foreign trip. it received a warm welcome from top leaders.

the flames. two firefighters were injured in the fire but both are doing okay. what started out as a common counter between a wild sea lion and the little girl, but things quickly changed. hannah daniels shows us the terrifying moment where the animal pulled the girl right into the water. >> reporter: youtube video has already garnered more than 6 million views since saturday. just minutes earlier, he's filming this large male sea lion in british columbia. >> a young girl came along with the family and started feeding the animals. >> the girl seemed amused at first but moments later as she sat next to the water's edge, the sea lion came back. this time grabbing her dress and dragging her into the water. without hesitation, a man jumps in and saves her.

there is a shield of clouds stacked up next to the beaches. that could make a huge impact in the coastal areas. that ridge of high pressure encompassing northern california . and the inlet areas is another hot one away from the bay. here is future cast tomorrow morning for the commute. we see the low clouds, the fog stacked up to the beach is trying to penetrate the bay. then by wednesday a trough blows through. partly sunny and also that deeper marine layer with the cooler air mass aloft will drop everybody's temperatures. wednesday night a little bit of light rain off the coast in the form of drizzle. that's very light associated with the deep marine layer. 103 in redding, 70s in the high sierra. take your pick. 60s beaches, 60s and 70s bay, mid-80s. 80s and 90s away from the bay. 95 in concord on sunday. today 93 degrees.
