from where media have been going live showing this man's picture. police describe him as a man in his 30s. we don't have his mug shots but we have pictures taken from surveillance cameras from bart train. they say this man is the suspect that allegedly kicked and punched a victim on august 3rd. this is happened between the bay fair station and sanly andre. they say he hit a victim and this saturday, police say the same suspect was on a san francisco bound train approaching the embarcadero train when the started punching a man. they say he did not steal anything and the attack was unprovoked and the victims do not know the suspect. a couple of hours after releasing the pictures, a oakland fire investigator flagged down a police officer on 9th and broadway where he spotted the suspect. >> this was a great collaborative effort from our media partners and

the death of a 26-year-old man. warren were the suspects in a nationwide manhunt after durna was found. lay them surrendered in the bay area. lay them was a micro biologist professor -- his important spoke of getting letters in support of lathem from coworker, friends and family. >> they describe him as a kind, intelligent and gentle soul -- what he's accused of is contrary to the way he has lived his life. >> when we askedim attorney why he came to oakland to surrender, he said his closest friends are here. he never told his sister or boyfriend he was coming to the u.s. these interesting circumstance s s turned this case to an international one getting attention.

it's believed lathem and the victim was in a relationship and had a falling out, but the motive not clear. what was the clear, the crime scene, jump 27th was horrific. a few hours after the murder, police made an anonymous donation to a library in wisconsin in the name of the victim. a message to family and friends for lathem apologizing said he made the biggest mistake of his life. his important said he's doing fine right now while he's in custody. warren is expected to be in court in san francisco. expected to waive extradition and head back to -- a toddler is recovering at home after getting hit by a massive tree branch. garcia suffered a torn eyelid and fractured skull when a 50 foot long snapped

to the car window. officers found the suspect's car this morning. big questions today about why there was no warning before a tornado ripped through tulsa, oklahoma. the ef4 twitter was on the ground without any alert from the weather service. it shred through restaurants and store fronts in the midtown of the city. the power storm uprooted trees and knocked out power in neighborhoods. emergency management director says the tornado sirens did not go off because it had already moved onto the neighboring city by the time the national weather service issued its warning. >> if it's a broken arrow, we will not sound our sciences because by the time we got this information was going into broken arrow. >> a spokesman for the national weather service says they plan to review their protocol. they say they'll review their protocol -- a scare in the air.
