the street. >> this started because of a gas leak. we're learning evacuations are in effect for that area. >> we'll bring you more information as we get it. the murder trial in steinle -- wpxi5kpix -- kpix anne makovec is outside the courthouse. >>reporter: they did reconvene to ask a judge a question and went back to continue their deliberations. the jury looking at three charges. first or second degree murder. or involuntary manslaughter. jose garcia, a 45-year-old homeless mexican citizen was arrested an hour after the shooting on july 1st 2015. kate steinle was hit by a single bullet while walking on pier 14 with her father.

she died in the hospital soon after. the defense claims the shooting was unintentional and said he picked up -- it was a gun and he said it accidentally went off. firing the shot that ricochet off the pier before hitting steinle in the back. but the prosecution laid out a more sinister scenario saying that he pulled the trigger deliberately. >> intentionality, that's the question. was this an accident be recklessness or was it something he did intentionally by focusing on ms. steinle >> the gun was recovered. it had been stolen from a u.s. borough of land management ranger's car days earlier. among the lesser charges, assault with a deadly weapon and being a felon in possession of a

game. sandra osborne explains a man was arrested after using a drone to drop leaflet fans. >>reporter: fans thought it was the stadium -- it was anti-media leaflets dropped. he used a drone to drop 200 to 100 leaflets at levi stadium. video from social media accounts -- police say he left levi stadium and started for the oakland coliseum before being arrested. >> had that gone down over the stadium, expect for propellers on it that's sharp and you know -- >> he was charged with a misdemeanor.

more charges are likely to follow. federal investigators take over the case since this took place within a few miles of the san jose airport. local police say they're keeping an eye out on drones on levi stadium. they said they'll be looking for new ways to make sure this doesn't happen again. sandra osborne, kpix5. >> a 49ers -- they said it was great work by the police for identifying the man so quickly. a new report is -- possible setbacks include abuse of a drug by young people and health risks among adults. voter approved proposition 64 is set to take effect in january making recreation pot legal under california law. let's get a check on our weather with neda. i was out there, and not too bad. >> crisp out there, but that's it. clear sky for most of the bay area. i want to show you these beautiful clouds out there.

we're starting to feel the breeze a little bit. i was watching those flags flapping around. it seems to have calmed down. this is our live shot from our dublin camera. i want to show you our current temperatures. we're getting used to cooler temperatures. 59 degrees for concord. 57 in oakland and san francisco at 56 degrees. and our afternoon highs will not be very high at all. let's talk about the winds. we saw peak winds pretty strong at mount diablo. san jose, 29. this is associated with the storm that is long gone. but our winds are going to pick up tomorrow night into wednesday. so for now, we may see wind gusts around 11 to 14 mile-per-hour around the coast. we could feel the breeze this afternoon. by tuesday, we'll have calm conditionings during the day. tuesday night, the wind gust are expected to pickup because they'll be a storm system moving to the north of us. it could impact us by noon

time on wednesday. also, with stronger winds. but most of the precipitation will stay to the north. we're going to say dry. we're going to get cooler air. the cooler air moved out east and that means our temperatures are going to be where they should be this time of year. we're going to see our temperatures into the low 60s. this is average. san jose, 63 for your afternoon high. mountain view, 62 degrees. in the east bay, temperatures in the upper 50s for vallejo. 61 in concord today. 59 for your afternoon high in brentwood. san francisco expected to reach 61 degrees. here's a look at the 7-day forecast. clear conditions all the way through the weekend. we may see a slight chance of rain for the weekend, but that's really all we're going on experience. so cool, clear skies. and here we go. our sunset happening at 4:51 this afternoon and sunrise tomorrow morning at 7:03. we do have a special day here.

amazon founder jeff bezos is now worth a whopping 100-billion dollars. all right. welcome back. the dow is up 30 points. amazon founder bezos is worth $1 billion. he passed the 12-digit milestona rise in amazon stock. a climb shows online shopping for thanksgiving and black friday jumped 18% over last year. it is believed bill gates, the

news.. today's tip of the day is going to be satuma tangerines. the aroma comes out because -- they're beautiful. especially if you put it on a bowl on the counter on the table and all the leaves like you picked them in your backyard. make sure they're nice and heavy for their size. very important. they're full of juice and not p. look at the juice coming out and look at that, no seeds. this is incredible. easy to eat for kids, it's so great because they feel them in three to four seconds. they enjoy it without
