as they search for the person who opened fire on an elementary school cam bus at 4:00 this morning. our cameras were rolling as san jose police say they found the possible gun used at bookson elementary school overnight in the nearby yard. it happened while the school was empty but caused damage to two security cameras, decorations and the outside wall of the school library. karen shear heard shots, called 911 sand despite the dispatcher's warning started running toward the gunman on school property chasing him away. >> you're not going to get away. i didn't have any thought process after that. i know it is really, really dumb. more than anything, i wanted a good look at him and give a description. >> reporter: parents this morning of course nervous about dropping kids off. the school was cleared and had a strong police presence today. >> i usually hear about this on
