the judge will hear evidence and whether they will stand trial. investigators who survived the fire are expected to testify. an elderly man is killed after becoming trapped inside a burning home. chopper 5 was over there in eagle avenue. the fire started in the basement around 6:00 a.m.. once the fire was under control crews enter the home, they found the victim inside the home. the cause of the fire is under investigation. still no estimate on one crews will repair the tollbooth that was crashed -- smashed. cows are moving smoothly in the area a rented box truck slammed into a long -- line of cars. the impact killed a worker. the driver of the truck and one

beach. that beach line is going to increase. it has been shrinking all morning long with the fluctuation between tides. it is very extreme today. high tide was at 1019 -- 10:19 this morning. tomorrow high tide will be at 11:06. seven footers are expected. low tide is in the afternoon. because of that we have flood warnings. they could cause flooded parking lots and trails. here's what we'll watching. we are seeing pretty significant wind gusts around town. here's a look at the wind speeds right now. sustained lanes -- winds at 16. san jose, 21 miles an hour. across the north bay, napa windsor coming out at 15. fairfield, 30. pretty impressive. a wind advisory is in effect. we have seen gusts as high as 40 mind -- miles an hour. blowing trees and debris are likely.

areas. i do want to talk about a freeze watch that is been issued for the north bay valley. it goes into effect tuesday night into wednesday morning. temperatures near freezing. that means frost as possible. protect your pipes, pets, plants. you might want to grab two blankets before bed tonight i also want to show you why this is happening. we have clear conditions out there. with the clear skies, we're going to notice quite a difference between the highs and lows. we'll start to get more of those north winds. we've been seeing them all day long's. we have peak gusts at more than 70 miles an hour. here's a look at the sustained wind right now. i just picked up a bit more in hayward. san ramon 18 miles an hour. for filled north winds at 30 miles an hour. the gusts are even higher. the future cast gives you a good glimpse of when these gusts are going to peak by 3:00
