authorities are offering a $115,000 reward leading to the arrest. now to the russian investigation. last night the white house said the president is not thinking or talking about firing special counsel robert mueller. the administration put out the statement after the president lashed out at mueller following a series of tweets following a warning from fellow republicans. wendy gillette is here in new york. wendy, good morning. >> good morning, anne-marie. president trump tweeted six times this weekend about the russia investigation. he may have been frustrated that the investigation is widening. last week mueller subpoenaed the trump organization for documents

related to russia. they released a statement last night in response to speculation on both sides of the aisle that robert mueller may be next up on the chopping block after deputy director of the fbi andrew mccabe was fired. the president fueled that theory, too, thanks to a weekend full of tweets aimed at the investigation into his campaigns ties to russia including this one that read in part, why does the mueller team have 13 hardened democrats, some big crooked hillary supporters, and zero republicans. does anyone think this is fair. his personal lawyer john dowd said it's time for the inquiry

would-be thieves in costco. cops were waiting at a fire exit door last wednesday. with stolen goods like laptops in hand, the suspects were arrested. police were tipped off by store employees. there's another instant powerball millionaire, and a missing pennsylvania teenager is safe. the "morning call" of allentown, pennsylvania, says a missing girl is back home. police found amy yu and kevin esterly saturday. they were found in playa del carmen, mexico. yu was brought back to allentown yesterday. esterly is being held in miami. he often signed the girl out of school without her parents' permission. he will face a charge of child custody interference. "the tampa bay times" reports a "circue du soleil" performer died after falling. during a show saturday night. 38-year-old yann arnaud apparently lost his grip on a ring and fell 20 feet to the

stage. he died from his injuries later at the hospital. he'd been working for "circue du soleil" for more than a decade. united reports they had to iowa divert their flight due to a dog being onboard. the plane was diverted the akron, ohio, thursday after the dog was mistakenly loaded onto a newark to st. louis flight. it was supposed to go to akron. it was delivered safely to its owners. this was united's third dog-related incident in a week. and "usa today" says the winning ticket of the $400 million jackpot was sold in pennsylvania. the specific location has not been disclosed. it's the eighth largest powerball jackpot ever. there were no winners in the friday mega millions lottery. that jackpot stands at 3$377 milli million.

caught on a nest camera in washington, d.c., the first of an eaglet. it was born on saturday. a conservation group placed the camera in the tree. there's also another egg that can be seen in the nest. bald eagles were removed from the federal endangered species list in 2007. on the "cbs moneywatch," a major baby product recall, and an ugly fight between two dating apps. diane king hall is at the new york stock exchange with that and more. good morning, diane. >> good morning, anne-marie. well, investors will be looking to see if federal reserve issues another rate hike this week. they plan to raise rates between 1.5% and 1.75%. checking wru the stocks wrapped up this week, the dow lost 1.5%, the s&p 500 fell 1.25%, and the nasdaq ended down .25% over the weekend.

meanwhile there's an investigation over crashes involving the airbag. the problem affects about 425,000 vehicles. the 2011 hyundai sonata and 2012 and 2013 kia forte's. it's believed the problem has to do with short circuits and airbag computers. hyundai recalled nearly 150,000 last month. handi-craft is recalling pacifiers and teether holders. the recall involved dr. brown's lov lovey's pacifiers and teether holders. a snap can detach from the pacifier's ribbon posing a choking hazard. no injuries have been reported. they were sold from 2015 to now at target, walmart, bed bath & beyond, and amazon. at&t wants to be in order to

here's a look at today's forecast in some cities around the country. police dash cam video shows a suspect getting away from a georgia sheriff's deputy. the suspect was pulled over for speeding. he managed to wrestle himself free from the deputy, get back into his car, and then drive away. the officer took a tumble, suffered a broken toe. the suspect was eventually caught, though, after a high-speed chase. an out-of-control ski lift in the country of georgia sent riders flying through the air on friday.

our top stories this morning. police in austin, texas, are investigating another explosion. they believe last night's blast in the southwestern part of the city was a bomb possibly detonated by a trip wire. three package bombs were detonated earlier this month killing two people. police say they're working under the assumption that last night's explosion is related. the white house says president trump is not considering having special counsel robert mueller fired. earlier the president sent a series of tweets blasting mueller and his investigation into russian meddling in the election. some republican lawmakers warned the president after he attacked mueller. senator lindsey graham said if mr. trump tried to oust mueller, it would be the beginning of the end of his presidency. california's first

driverless buses started running this month in san ramon. that's near san francisco. the electric shuttles carry 12 people and john blackstone climbed aboard. >> reporter: most driverless cars being tested in america still require a human ready to grab the wheel or hit the brakes if technology fails, but the shuttle bus making its way through san ramon, california, has no driver, no steering wheel, no brake pedal. it's the first completely driverless vehicle lie sensed to operate on public roads in california. for randy iwasaki, the head of the county transportation authority, this is an exciting ride indeed. >> this is a first. we're on the public streets. >> this is my first time after working for months trying to get a license to be on the public streets. this is pretty cool. >> this is the way you foresee citizens getting around. >> reporter: he sees autonomous
