there. >> i was in the courtroom. prosecutors say she assisted her husband and torturing her children. she was taken into custody immediately after the hearing and headed for jail. >> pictures inside the courtroom shows i know rogers facing 90 counts of child abuse. the fairfield mother of 10 denies the allegations but will not be heading home. the judge set the bail at half a million dollars and an amount the attorney for roger says she can't afford and prosecutors argued for the bail amounts and says rogers is a danger to her children all of whom are now living with relatives. rogers and her husband jonathan allen kept their children in an abusive and filthy home. investigators say allen tortured the children leaving them with bruises and burns consistent with being shot with a pellet gun.

allen defended himself. >> we were trying to give them the best life we could and we never felt like we were doing them wrong and if my children are watching and love you. >> rogers allowed cameras inside the home were 10 children ages four months to 12 years old slept in one room and we saw feces on the bathroom floor. fairfield the beast -- fairfield police say the child abuse investigation started nearly two months ago when she -- when the mother was based on living conditions. >> my mom is calling the police here and there and they did not give us a fair chance. >> the attorney for anna rogers did not comment and the next appearance is scheduled for may 24th. new details we are getting our first work -- look at a manner arrested for this deadly crash. he is suspected of driving while high on marijuana.

gentry was close for a .5 hours overnight here at stevenson boulevard after a five vehicle accident killed three people. one man is under arrest. eight people riding in this white escalade when the crash occurred and 930 last night. a woman and two children thrown from the suv and died on the northbound lanes of 88. >> you never get used to this. our hearts go out to the families -- 880 -- >> five others taken to the hospital. a man and four kids, one in critical condition. investigators say dang nguyen hai tran was under the influence driving a toyota camry when he caused the crash. >> the division -- decision this person made change these people's lives forever. >> there were reports of the

suspect driving erratically and all the children killed and injured between the ages of 4- 14 and the d.u.i. suspect suspected to be arraigned tomorrow in dublin at 2:00 p.m. a lyft driver is behind bars after he sexually assaulted a driver while unconscious. this is the 24-year-old suspect. he picked up the victim from her home and drove him to his home in fremont and he told her to go upstairs and lay down and assaulted her. the suspect is facing charges including sexually assaulting and monk -- an unconscious person and he will be in court later this week. new at noon santa clara d.a. released and editorial speaking out about the judge of alan krashesky. he said it was a far too lenient sentence recommended by the department and i am conveniently opposed it and it

was not an event -- an attack on the judge -- persky -- and i am firmly opposed to the recall and i believe in undermined independence for the judiciary. his controversial sentence in a sexual assault case. the d.a. does not support the recall because persky has not shown a pattern of abuse or favor for people in his rulings. public drug use in san francisco and mayoral candidate london is teaming up to get the needles off the streaks. a dozen paramedics joined the board of supervisors president outside susie -- city hall. he is proposing safe injection sites to get addicts off the street and face counselors and be often -- offered help. >> addiction is not going away

on mount hood... is now suing a sheriff's department and 9- 1-1 call center in oregon... for ten million dollars. they claim -- a delay in dispatching the rescue helicopter lead to his death. the family of a climber who died on mount hood is suing the sheriff's department and the 911 call center in oregon for $10 million. they claim a delay in dispatching the helicopter led to his death. >>reporter: the first call was at approximately 10:40 a.m. john jenkins nearly 2 miles up mount hood and just tumbled 600 feet down the slope and survived. >> he was busted up and he is stable. i don't know if anything is broken. >> another climber jesse cornett made the 911 call. the dispatcher transferred him -- transferred him to clackamas who told him to call ski patrol
