that the new york city police department is investigating at least one sexual assault claim against celebrity chef mario batali. and today, "the new york times" reports another sexual assault claim against the chef. the times reports that in march, a woman told investigators that batali drugged and sexually assaulted her in january of 2004 at his new york city restaurant. and the times says the woman told police she had been drinking that night and remembers waking up to batali

dangerous. a third inmate who escaped, has been recaptured. meg oliver is outside the county jail in orangeberg, meg. >> jeff, the brazen escape took less than ten minutes to play out here saturday night. three inmates threw blan kelts ovkelts -- blankets over barbed wire and took off running towards the woods. cbs news learned the escape happened after an electrical shortage opened cell doors in one section. a few inmates took advantage of the situation and jumped one of the card. kicking punching and blasting his face with pepper spray. a massive manhunt is under way for two of the men. johnson and green. both were in jail charged with separate murders. sunday police recaptured, boltin who was jailed for carjacking. he was arrested about 1 miles north of ehere with his father who assisted him. both men are behind bars tonight. jeff. >> do police at this point have

news". hi, welcome to the "overnight news." people who live around hawaii's kilauea volcano refuse to leave have a danger walking towards their doorsteps. poison gas. the molten lava pouring from the mountain found its way to the sea. and created a toxic cloud full of tiny shards of glass. on top of that, new eruption sent a cloud of ash into the sky. mark strassmann has the story. >> reporter: all of this molten rock hotter than a house fire needs some place to go the so from fissure 20, we tracked the flow, three miles to here.

paula reid reports. >> deputy attorney general, rod rosenstein arrived at white house this afternoon for a showdown with president trump over an fbi informant who had contacts with several trump campaign aide during the 2016 election. the informant me with three trump campaign advisers. carter page, george papadopoulos, and sam clovis after the fbi learned they had suspicious contacts with russians. yesterday, the president tweeted. i hereby demand that the department of justice look into whether or not the fbi doj infiltrated surveiled the trump campaign for political purposes. in response, rosenstein asked the inspector general's office to expand its current investigation into the origins of the russia probe. after today's meeting the president appeared satisfied with that outcome. >> a very courageous man. courageous. congressman, devin nunez. thank you very much for being here.

the search continues for two convicted killers who escaped from a south carolina prison. meg oliver has the the story. jail in orangeberg, meg. >> jeff, the brazen escape took less than ten minutes to play out here saturday night. three inmates threw blan kelts -- blankets over barbed wire and took off running towards the woods. cbs news learned the escape happened after an electrical shortage opened cell doors in one section. a few inmates took advantage of the situation and jumped one of the card. kicking punching and blasting his face with pepper spray. a massive manhunt is under way for two of the men. johnson and green. both were in jail charged with separate murders. sunday police recaptured, boltin who was jailed for carjacking.

told "the wall street journal" that his son was a good boy and has been mistreated at school. he said his son was bullied and i believe that is what was behind the shooting. sonja salazar came off to the school to pay tribute. her daughter is recovering from gunshot wounds in the neck and shoulder. >> i can feel the parents pain. i went through it. i wanted to come and see if any body was here. and -- feel for them. and the whole city. the whole city its sad.

14 jeeyears. they didn't have a full time human resources department until 2017. >> there was no chain of command to go to? >> uh-uh. no. i didn't go to ape rim. because i don't trust her about it either. >> did you feel as a, female co-owner, of the company that april, bloomfield had your back? >> no. >> i know other people went to april. she did nothing to, to make them, feel safe. awe off other staff say bloomfield may not have known the extent of the harassment. sunny she declined our reap quest. she said i am in the final stages of severing my partnership with ken friedman. i regret not doing more to protect my staff who relied on me. many women we spoke with, say they feared being fired if they've come plaend to ken friedman. said he would some times black ball former employees. plan j plan -- he was so angry he contacted the restaurant where she had been hired.
