released from custody by the end of the day. know, from ice on this case. another high profile celebrity has taken his life that renowned chef, anthony anthony bourdain was found dead in a french hotel room this morning. a friend found the 61-year-old father unresponsive, and confirmed he hanged himself. anthony bourdain was in france filming for the series, parthenon, to explore culture, cuisine, and the human cuisine for nearly to decades. he talked about his travels on cbs this morning . >> when you trel as much as i have, i don't want to say i am more humble, but i think you become aware of how other people live, holie.w thw d is h >> these photos of anthony bourdain were shot four days ago, asif found an episode of his show at a restaurant in colmar. his suicide comes on the heels of kate spade's suicide, and one day after the new research by cdc shows a spike in suicides across the country

volunteers will meet with people living on the street to discuss treatment and awareness. they will also give a free health assessment for anyone whwowas hurt during a long police standoff in oakland this morning. police were called out around 4:00 after shots were fired at an apartment building. it happened near foothill boulevard between avenal avenue and 61st avenue pick nearby apartment units were evacuated pick the suspect was barricaded inside the building. hours later, the suspect turned himself over to authorities. he walked out of the building with his hands up . >> san francisco police also investigating a third shooting reported in the city in just 24 hours. it happened in the [null] hill neighborhood around 4:30 this morning at the intersection of polk and sacramento streets. person was wounded and taken to the hospital. the suspect fled the screen -- seen. no word yet on the victim's condition. baking news from the east bay. crews are battling a grass fire burning in the hills above moraga. at last check, that fire was 3-

4 acres. it is burning on the ridgeline above campo lindo high school. the campus itself is not in danger. the students are taking finals this week. they have been told to stay put, at least in this fight. chopper 5 is on the way back we will have more of that story when we get more details. an 8-year-old child was killed in a car crash overnight. the chp said it was caused by a driver who fell asleep at the wheel. it happened after midnight on northbound 680 and send all. traffic had slowed because of construction, but the driver of a black dodge was nodding off. they say that he admitted that he fell asleep when he ran into the back of a white corolla. the child was in the backseat, and died at the hospital. to other people were hurt. the freeway was closed for an hour and a happy an emergency landing this morning at minetta san jose international airport. these are live pictures coming rted some mechanical issues. flight 1019 landed safely less

know is, some areas of the city obviously have leash laws. the dog can be off leash, and that's okay. of the areas of the city, not so much. let's say you are walking on the sidewalk, your dog is on the leash on the other dog is not at attack your dog. that person is liable for the bite wounds. the very, the most important thing you should do is gather information. you want to know the owner's name. you want to know the owners veterinarian, so you can be sure that the dog has been fully vaccinated, especially against 80s. it is a law that all pets must be vaccinated for rabies. and separate cisco, all dogs must be licensed by the city. if it turns out that there is not that information, that is important for you to know, because although it is very rare for a dock to have rabies, the way rabies is transmitted from one animal to another is through bite wounds. dogs are often time quarantined as a result. animal care control is usually
