dreamers. those are children illegally brought to the country. one bill does not give young immigrants a way to become citizens. the other proposed by moderates does grant the dreamers a chance for citizenship. the vote is consideringed a def for them. and this morning a u.s. border patrol ajemgent is hospitalized after being shot near the mexico/arizona border. it's an area known for immigrant and drug smuggling. >> and there's no wall at the boundary. it's just a four-strand barbed wire cattle fence for 25 miles. >> the agent was patrolling the area alone. several people have been detained. more than 50 suspected undocumented immigrants were found in a truck in texas last night.

they were discovered in san antonio in an 18 wheeler near the airport. some are minors. five were hospitalized for injuries sustained when they tried to run. but for the most part, they are in good shape. the border patrol and i.c.e. have been called in. the university of southern california says it welcomes a federal investigation into its handling of sexual harassment allegations made against a staff doctor. dr. george tyndall was on the usc staff for nearly 30 years. allegations against him were made as early as 1990, but usc didn't fully investigate until 2016. more than two dozen lawsuits have been filed over tindall's alleged behavior. he has denied any wrongdoing. a series of wildfires are burning out of control out west. the buffalo fire erupted yesterday in central colorado. it's burning in a resort town 60 miles west of denver. air tankers are being used to fight the blaze.

well, the so-called dancing fbi agent is charged and the housing option for children. those are some of the headlines on the morning newsstand. the "miami herald" reports the trump administration is looking at cities to house unaccompanied minor children. the number of migrant kids at government shelters has

increased more than 20%. it comes after the administration's zero tolerance policy. more than 11,000 children are being held in custody as the shelter nears capacity. the "washington post" reports special counsel robert mueller's team is asking a federal judge to secure evidence about an alleged russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. they're reportedly worried that russian intelligence services will use a criminal case against a russian company to collect information about the investigation and u.s. intelligence gathering methods. they wane judge to iose limits on the information that can be shared with defense attorneys in that case. the "denver post" says an fbi agent accused of accidentally shooting someone after dropping his gun while dancing has been charged with second-degree assault. he'll appear in court today. video shows the 29-year-old chase bishop doing a back flip

it plans to announce raising its lending rate for the second time this year. investors will be interesting in how many rate hikes the fed is considering for the balance of the year. yesterday the dow finished mixed. the dow shed a point, thegaed e off 9% of its work force. the move will not affect factory workers. this as tesla continues to ramp up production of its lower priced vehicle. shares topped the 4 billion mark. the first time it's happened. households, foundations, and bequests gave. the rise was in part by gains on the stockmarket and more disposable income.

washington following his summit with north korean leader kim jong-un. on his way back home, the president tweeted the world has taken a big step back from potential catastrophe. this morning north korea called the meeting a resounding success. well, cyber security experts are warning it's not a question of if but when hackers will take over a commercial jetliner. cress van cleve has more on that. >> reporter: a stark declaration in documents obtained by cbs

newss from the department of homeland security. in this presentation from earlier this year, researchers warned it's a matter of time before a cyber security breach on an airline occurs. that assessment came after a decision to launch a "nose to tail" series of tests on this boeing 757 for hacking weak spots. those came after a task led by dr. robert hickey took two days to hack a plane back in 2016. the dh sk team got in through the radio's frequency communications using typical stuff that could be brought through airport security. in response dhs scheduled those furtherer hacking attempts on plane including efforts to handle the flight management, life support, auto pie lot, as well as electronics and fuel. >> my fear is that our nation
