children separated from their families at the border have been reunited since may. there's still no clear solution nor timeline for the rest though. a senior administration official tells cbs news the government is working to set up a reunification process in south texas. at the same time, the pentagon is examining the possibility of using military bases to house up to 20,000 children who cross into the u.s. by themselves. >> how will that work? is it even feasible? >> the bill is not passed. >> all this comes as the republicans in the house tried and failed to pass an immigration bill yesterday. they postponed a vote on another bill until next week. that includes $25 billion for a border wall and a pathway to citizenship for some of the dreamers. se he a w we have real disagreement, we'r e trcryiats o r inrkac ttionou.. >> they don't care about the children, they don the injury, they don't care about the problems.'t carab

bu highway on tuday in east pittsburgh where an officer shot and killed 17-year-old antwon rose. a bystander captured the incident on video. authorities say rose was shot three times as he fled police during a traffic stop. a lawyer for the teen's family said rose did not pose a threat to anyone. the governor of texas declared disasters in six counties along the coast. it damaged homes and left people stranded. more than 150 people were carried to dry land. residents said they couldn't stop the water from rushing into their homes. >> basically the water just started to seep in. i barricaded the doorways. >> a situation like this can be very dangerous because of the moving nature of water, the unknowns underneath the water. >> more than a foot of rain fell since monday. and coming up on the
