>> and luxurious mess. part of a mall coming crashing down in mexico. good morning from the studio 57 newsroom at cbs news headquarters here in new york. good to be with you. i'm anne-marie green. president trump begins the second day in his visit to great brittain beginning with his no holds barred diplomacy he began at the nato summit. so far he's blasted theresa may over her brexit plan, praised her archrival, blamed london's mayor for its terror attacks, and meets queen for tea. john schiumo is here. good morning, john. >> good morning, anne-marie. so how did president trump react to the criticism? the spokesman said she's looking forward to sitting down with the

president and talking him through plans for brexit. meanwhile thousands are gathering in london to protest the president's visit. there was plenty of fanfare at the palace when the president and first lady attended a black tie dinner, but not long after the courtship with british prime minister theresa may finished, an interview president trump gave to the british newspaper went public. >> i told her she had to do it, but she didn't agree with me. >> the president told the uk tabloid that may's brexit plans could ruin future trade deals with the u.s. >> if they do a deal like that, most likely we'll be dealing with the european union instead of dealing with the uk, so it will probably kill the deal. >> in response to the interview, may's spokesman said she was looking forward to sitting down with the president to him roh . the majority of president trump's two-day visit is being held awaym central london

the trump administration says all the eligible small children who were separated at the mexican border have been reunited with their parents. that's only about half of the children 5 year and younger who were separated. 257 were reunited with their families by yesterday morning. others continue to be held for various reasons including safety concerns, and their parents have been deported. following an aclu suit, the administration sunday court order to return more than 2,000 older children by july 26. another hearing is scheduled for today to ask for more time. and president trump's campaign manager has been moved to another jail. paul manafort has been moved to a new jail. he was moved to a jail in lexa, virginia, to another lockup where he said he was

wants to give "air force one" a makeover. he's reportedly considering changing its colors to something more colorful and patriotic. krisvan cleave explains. >> reporter: the blue and white 747 known to most as "air force one" owes its iconic look to president john f. kennedy and his wife jackie. >> so kennedy wanted an airplane that built the brand of the presidency. >> it's part of this whole pattern of him to try to create the visibility of the active office and as a glamorous office, which he succeeded in doing. >> president trump is perfectly willing to upend a lot of the norms of washington and the conventions of washington, and that appears to include "air force one." >> reporter: mr. trump took the unusual step of personally negotiating with boeing for two brand-new 747s. >> well, the plane is totally out of control. it's going to be over $4 billion. it's for the "air force one" program.
