three sketches of people that they call persons of interest in the case of two men shot two years ago. these were the two men killed in the early morning hours of august 14th, 2016. they were attending a party a gallery on 15th street in oakland and fletcher cooks got into a fight inside the party. gunshots rang out and he was killed. the party crowd panicked, spilling on to the streets and several people started firing their guns. one of those shots hit and killed mccrary. and today, police revealed this surveillance video of the two men coming around the corner in the middle of the sidewalk. they're being called persons of interest in this case from this video and witness st a sketch artist came up with the following three sketches of

people that investigators believe were involved in one of both of these deadly shooting. all three men are in their 20s and under 6 feet tall. with this new lead and the pictures reesed today -- released today, the police and victims' families are hoping someone may come forward with information leading to an arrest. >> this mifk was taken two weeks before he died at a graduation ceremony. he had the whole world in front of him. and we're really hurting. any tips that you can bring would be very helpful. . >> reporter: family members of both young men who were killed came to today's news conference, but most were too upset to speak publicly. police call them both good young men. and you can police tips on these esymousl

information about if this was a road age incident or targeted incident. >> reporter: the victim was shot once in the back. he was alert and talking with officers and is expected to be okay. he did have a female passenger in the car. she was not hurt. they do not have information right now about the suspect or the possible vehicle involved in this shooting. again, all of the lanes northbound 680 here in san jose reopened again this morning. but lingering backups could cause a problem for drivers. breaking news in san francisco right now. unconfirmed reports of at least one gunshot fired on campus at balboa high school. these are live pictures from the scene from chopper 5. this reportedly happened about half on hour ago. no reports of any injuries at this time. right now, the school is on lockdown. this is a picture from inside. it appears one of the

classrooms where a lot of the students are sheltering in place. we'll stay on top of the story and bring you any updates as they come in. and investigators trying to track down a missing canadian woman and her daughter vacation vacationing in the area. they planned to camp along the coast. the last time anyone saw them was on sunday. they had plans to go to a hotel and never arrived. the mother and daughter had reservations the next day at a campground near the oregon, california border. staff and campers think they saw them there and the two did not appear in distress. more bay area headlines. authorities in concord say a truck carrying pool chemicals was speeding when it collided with a car a few hours ago. there was fear the chemicals that spill could mix.

you can see a lot of law enforcement in this area and it appears they are talking to people in the community. we don't know who the people are at this point. we see ambulances and police officers as well. this happened around 11:30 this morning. it's unclear who may have fired the shot. we are not hearing of any injuries at this point. but the school and two other schools in that area are on lockdown. . >> follow kpix.com for the very latest on that. several cars crushed when partover a large tree collapsed in walnut creek this morning. here's the damage. >> reporter: look at this huge mess here behind me when this oak tree came crashing down on a total of seven vehicles. u'athe damage to this truck here.

300-year-old tree. you can see more vehicles here on the other side of the street damaged by this tree. this happened at about 12:30 a.m. the city was able to come out and clear the roadway overnight. obviously, a huge mess to clean up. we spoke with the homeowner. >> as you can see, no rain, perfect conditions, no wind. it just made a sudden crack like someone hit a baseball with a wooden bat. that kind of sound. and then a big slam. you heard it hit the ground. >> reporter: and this is the rest of the tree. that homeowner is certained it will tip on to her house because the weight of the tree has shifted so much. they said this was a more than 300-year-old tree and the city regulates how much people can cut the oaks.

she'll have to sort through the liability on this in addition to clea up the mess. cko those cries for help coming from a puppy trapped in his family's car. when the owner got to the car, she heard the noise and a quick- thinking superintendent jumped into action and got him out. >> what made the day is that the children were there and if you could stee their smile -- see their smile when they saw their puppy nice and safe. >> no one knows how the dog climbed into the wheel well before the mom left the house. the superintendent was just happy to step up and save the puppy.. a unique buried treasure. a woman lost an iphone in a lake. a month later, a diver brought it back to her. the wallet complete with the

corner in this neighborhood and many children lost loved ones here. >> i felt like i needed to do something to try and comfort all of these kids. there were so many kids suffering. >> reporter: she gave away about 50 backpacks the first year. since then, it's been too many to count. do you keep track in. >> no. >> reporter: hundreds, thousands? >> probably. . >> reporter: she comforts neighborhood dpults in need -- adults in need. the 73-year-old mississippi native makes quilts honoring murder victims. survivors contribute names of those they lost. >> if they don't have a voice, i want to be their voice. i want to speak for them and let them know that somebody cares. . >> reporter: for alicia, she's an inspiration. . >> she's an uplifter. i can tell her anything and she'll make sure it's okay. >> reporter: if this
