>> the president says he thinks his speech went great and that it was meant to get some laughter. he also got a few smirks from tr tp the germthe germae criticized them in russia. it was the only time the president mentioned russia by name. cbs news, new york. well, some of president trump's allies in congress are threatening to enforce a vote on impeaching deputy attorney general rod rosenstein if he refuses to testify before house committee. he is expected to meet with them tomorrow to discuss reports that he volunteered to secretly record the president and floated the idea of using the constitution to replace mr. trump. rosenstein met with chief staff john kelly monday amid rumors that he was going to be fired. bill cosby spent the night at a maximum security prison north of philadelphia. cosby was sentenced to at least for drugging and sexually

assaulting a woman. more than 60 women have made similar accusations. he has -- as he leveled the sentence, the judge said it is time for justice. kenneth craig reports. >> reporter: bill cosby walked out of court in handcuffs. the 81-year-old comedian was sentenced to three to ten year assaulting andrea constand in 2004. she was in the courtroom for the sentencing and left with a smile. >> this is just going to show victims that they can make it through and that there's justice at the end. and hallelujah. >> reporter: more than 60 women have accused cosby of sexual misconduct. some gathered in the pouring rain outside the courthouse. >> i feel like my mom's in heaven watching over me crying saying you did it baby, you stood up and the oogeyman going to jail. >> reporter: cosby's attorneys asked the judge to let cosby go home while he appeals, but the judge said, no, that cosby could possibly be a danger to the community.

>> reporter: good morning. later today the federal reserve is expected to announce its third interest rate hike this year. this would be the ninth interest rate hike since late 2015. another rate hike is expected later this year. fed chairman jerome powell may offer insight about next year's plan as well as an economic forecaforecast into twenty twe. u.s. confidence hit an 18-year high, the latest in data pointing to a strong u.s. economy. the dow last 69 points, s&p shed 3, while the nasdaq gained 14. delta air lines has said it has cleared up a technical issue that grounded its planes in the u.s. last night. the delta ground stop lasted an hour. it's unclear how many passengers, wre affected or what caused the problem. delta says the impact on this morning's schedule is expected to be minimal. bmw says its sales and profits will fall short of forecasts for the year. the german luxury automaker now predicts a 7% profit margin per
