. sheriff deputies in marin county are looking for a man who shot three people at a detex center this morning killing one of them. good afternoon i'm ann macovict. police are searching for the gunman about a mile away from the detox center, kpix 5

reporter jackie ward brings us the details from the deadly scene. >> when the sheriff deputy got the call they were told that the staff members at the center had been shot after 1:30, two victims a man and a woman weretaken to be treated for gunshot wounds, a third victim died at the scene the conditions of the victims are unknown at this time. for people living in the area something like this is alarming. >> it was so shocking i heard it right now. it is pretty bad. the city is so quiet and everything, that's why around here. >> this afternoon sheriff deputies are still looking for the shooter and the motive. >> when deputies arrived they searched the scene, searched the area, with the assistance of chp helicopter. they were unable to locate the suspect. the suspect fled the scene, the immediate area is secure. >> according to its website
