them. the fire is bringing even more smoke to the bay area today, the air quality district says we are still at unhealthy levels rite now. this is the view from our exclusive sales camera, just two hours ago, our meteorologist mary lee joins us with the very latest. you can see the smokey conditions on our tower camera, dealing with that unhealthy air with an air quality advisory in effect as well as spare the air alert. we're going to continue to see the smokey conditions not just today, but likely over the next few days. this is the current air quality situation here, you can see unhealthy readings, unhealthy air quality values across the bay area. so that is why we have unhealthy air expected for the rest of the bay area as we go through the day today with all of that smoke because of northeasterly winds, our wind speeds were looking at northeasterly winds at offshore flow bringing in all of that smoke from the butte county campfire in to the bay area,

broke out right off the 118 freeway. this is near box canyon and lake manner you can see this neighborhood filled with homes there and all of this smoke. it looks like it may be coming from the hill side. this is called the rocky fire just reported about an hour ago, this is in steamy valley right near the 118 freeway. we'll check in with mary at a look at our bay quality. >> they have the strong santa anna winds, dry air fueling the smoke in the bad air quality for them, they are dealing with wildfires, we are dealing with wildfires here in northern california of course this is our sales force tower camera to show you how bad it is out there with our air quality,

hard to make out palace of fire, dirty air with all of that smoke in our atmosphere, looking at temperatures in the low to mid-60s currently. to show you the smokey conditions for just two and a half miles from visibility from heyward, oakland airport, concord, 3-miles from napa, santa rosa, because of that all of that smoke in the air, the air quality is unhealthy for all of the bay area. we have an air quality advisory as well as spare the air alert. that will likely continue over the next few days don't see a lot of change unfortunately with our weather. high pressure in place looking at light offshore winds bringing in more smoke into the bay area. this is our smoke forecast here you can see from the butte county campfire pushing right into the bay area, area for the

next 36 hours, looks like we could see some rain next week, future cast in the next 10 days with rain chances maybe as we go through next tuesday wednesday or thursday for thanksgiving. we definitely need the rain desperately show sunset at 5, daytime highs with that hazy smoke filtered sunshine looking at mid-60s in san francisco, upper 60s, vallejo, concord, low 70s in san jose, santa rosa and napa. by the way, we do have the 49ers game of course the 49ers taking on the new york giants this is today at 5:15 the criteria is a value of 200 or higher, i don't think it will get that bad but could come close we'll be monitoring that closely, hazyskies likely through thursday. all of that activity try to limit it.
