teaser -- trees are being toppled. this is a messy thursday commute >> the wet and windy weather has been causing problems all around the bay area. >> first, breaking news in the south bay. >> it is on air avenue. >> we're live at the scene with the very latest. >> reporter: police taped off a wide section of air avenue in san jose. it is still an active climb -- crime scene. no official details. at least one possibly two victims are inside one of the homes. crime scene detectives have been going in and out of the house for the past couple of hours. this is one of the oldest neighborhoods filled with large homes built in the 30s. the mayor lives a few doors here's what neighbors are

we are following some problem spots. first we are tracking conditions right now. we are tracking scattered showers and heavy downpours. let's get right to it. first up in the north bay you can see rain over santa rosa. st. helena, glenallen and down through san rafael and mill valley. let's take you out to the east bay from pleasant hill, walnut creek, we just had some rain moving over oakland and across the peninsula from wedgewood city, palo alto and other areas that. in the south bay you can see the rain as well. we're also talking about the wind with this weather system. it is a strong storm. a wind advisory is in effect. the wind is gusting up to 45 miles per hour.

one future cast we will go hour by hour. things will start to ease and then we are tracking another weather system behinyou. chopper 5 is over this warehouse. the pounding rain caused the section of the roof to cave in overnight. this is at 24th. you can see all the debris that fell through. >> we continue with an who is live in marin county. what are the conditions like their? >> pretty good. some breaks in the clouds. we have seen the sun shining through. finally, in the north bay, we e powerline hangingover panoramic highway. the chp has detoured traffic while the poll was secured.
