misadventure this morning, we're west of the hayward airport and we have the helicopter up over this one. odd calls coming up in noises in the back of a building and people not sure what was going office building on. we're in front of the restaurant. right next door is the compost tax services. a gentleman in there heard noises. heard them again. went to investigate and will he not gone out and found out what was going on, this might be been a little bit worse. >> for 45 minutes, i kept hearing this sound. and i'm like, what the heck is going on? >> reporter: it started when he had the noises -- when he hear the noise ask rs and -- noises and he walked around and checked things out. >> please get me out. i' i need to just get out. >> reporter: in came the

before the crash. a third car was also involved and one other person was hospitalized. not clear if drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash. and another woman died after a hit-and-run in hill neighborhood. it happened around 3:30 a.m. the driver is still on the run this afternoon. witnesses say the suspect's vehicle was a dark color and was last seen north of leavenworth. police are checking surveillance videos for clues. and one person died and another injured following a multivehicle crash early this morning in sonoma county. it happened near santa rosa. it is not clear yet what led to the crash. the cph is investigating -- chp is investigating. and damage and destruction from the wild fires causing problems. claims are already at $9 billion and that number is can wanted to rise. -- expected to rise. . .
