now at noon, a surgeon wall street. the dow jones up triple doesn'ts, investors taking in several positive reports. good afternoon, i'm anne makevec. >> and i'm michelle griego. let's take a look at the numbers. the dow is way up, about 693 points right now, investors seem to be happy with the latest jobs report and word of trade talks between the u.s. and china starting up on monday. also the federal reserve chairman said the central bank will be flexible with interest rates. and here is a closer look at that jobs report, the labor department says the economy added 3,912,000 jobs last -- 312,000 jobs last month. from healthcare to food services did go up to 3.9%, but that's because more people started to look for work. let's take a live look outside right now across the bay area. we have a mix of sun and clouds, but that is about to

so, you know, even people that >> in newman,. interstate 880, a car hit and killed someone who was walking in the northbound lanes, it happened near south fremont boulevard just after 3:30 a.m. the medical examiner has not identified the victim yet, but it does appear to be a man. all lanes of 880 reopened around 6:45. and another crash in almeda county this morning, this one blocked several westbound lanes of interstate 80 in berkeley. it happened in the westbound direction near buchanan at around 7:40 a.m. law enforcement in texas hopes a new sketch will lead to a man who shot and killed a 7- year-old girl. this is who shot jazmine barnes in the head. jazmine's sister says the rele videof the gunman's eyes.
