across the bay area. michelle, we are tracking light to moderate rain, widespread rain across the bay area. check out the bay bridge camera, raindrops. and it is a parking lot out there. let's show you high def doppler, you can see all of this rain, it is pouring for the north bay, navado, down to mill valley. also over berkeley, oakland, across the bay city. san ramon, pleasanton, san mateo, across the peninsula, redwood city and all of the south bay as well. sunnyville, san jose, campbell, seven trees. you can see all of this

activity pushing north, more rain behind that. here is what can you expect, light to moderate widespread rain today. powerful stronger storm system tomorrow. we are tracking that, that will be the storm to watch for tomorrow from 3:00 to 11:00 p.m. heavy rain and strongs winds. taking you hour at honoonur a standoff at a pleasant hill shopping center it all started when a u haul truck rammed into a police car parked. the truck nearly hit a near by officer on foot. that's when officers gave chase. eventually ending up near the crossroads shopping center in pleasant hill. nearly 3 hours the suspect stayed in the truck ignoring officers demands. just after 8:00 this morning police say that francisco lima, got out of the truck and taken into custody, is he being charged with attempted assault, driving wreck resly while evading an officer.

traffic at a standstill on 890 near the oakland coliseum, a drive are spun out on the roadway, ran on to coliseum property and made it thatsuspect is being held on a psychiatric hold. this just in, a former baseball star from the bay area, john wetland attended cardinal high school mvp with the yankees in 1996, lizard him in texas, is he free on $25,000 bond. a bay area man accused of stabbing his girlfriend and daughter before lighting his house on fire has died. he was shot by a police officer, anne makevec has more on a violent light. >> the suspect lived here in this home with the two people he stabbed before he was shot and killed by police. it all started at around 6:00 last night when police say 37-
