as if wind and rain were not enough, mother nature sent an earthquake to wake up folks in the east bay for a second day in a row. back i felt a little jostled. my dog barked >> reporter: this morning's quake was a 3.5 magnitude at 6:11 this morning. the epicenter was just 2 miles from berkeley. are on the hayward fault, both of them 7 miles deep and 26 miles apart. spat we have sequences about? on the hayward fault fairly regularly, every two years. >> reporter: 25 years ago to the day, the northridge quake struck the san fernando valley. injuring 157.
