officers who were killed in the line of duty 10 years ago. >> a memorial to mark a decade since the tragic day that left oakland and the bay area in morning. >> our fallen heroes are never forgotten. >> today police officers at saint benedict catholic church to remember officer john and sergeant mark. they were shot and killed during a traffic stop of a wanted felon on march 21, 2009. sergeants urban romans and daniel were on a s.w.a.t. team killed by the same suspect while an apartment looking for them. the fellow officers shot and killed the suspect. us at a dangerous job our r police officers have. and that as a city we mourn every loss of life.
