discovered that's being abused as recently of 2016. we broke the story of council members visiting tens of thousands of warrior -- while claiming in paperwork they were at the games to investigate efficiencies or oversight of facilities. after our reports, the public ethics commission investigated and urged the city, county and board of commissioners to revamp their policies. today, they did just that. under the new policy, each board member will have access to only five games for community and charitable organizations and they'll have to fill out a report at the the tickets are distributed and the board members have to write to

newsom revealed details for dealing with destructive wildfires. wilson walking live in sacramento county with all the details. wilson. >>reporter: details, something the governor of california is quite fond of, and boy did he throw a few of them out over the last hour. he just laid out a -- i can't think of another way to describe it, other than a sweeping look at the cost associated with wildfires if california. everything from the up front cost of the disaster fighting the fires, but particularly california's energy future. we were talking yesterday about the possibility of rates doubling for pg&e customers. he spoke at length about that. pretty much this is the new normal. and while rate payers are scared of these skyrockets rates, he described it as a situation

some where, has to assume these cost and he spoke with pg&e about helping with those costs. he spoke specifically to the issue of pg&e cooperating with this challenge now facing california. >> pg&e need to understand we mean business as well. and their investors need to understand that cloud and clearly. they need to t that letter about the board. we need the capital. i'm not naive about that, and i am, as i said, a capitalist. but i'm about inclusive capitalism which means i have the back of rate payers and taxpayers and i care about my state and this country and what the state represents in this world. they have to be apart of this solution. >> okay. so a pretty direct threat to pg&e. kind of asking them to jump onboard with the skyrocketing cost associated with

in new zealand nearly a month after 50 people died in a mosque. assault rifles are banned and the new laws keep in four weeks after police say a white supremacist targeted muslims at two mosques. funeral nipsey hussle's funeral was disrupted shortly. the shooting happened blocks off the procession route. police are looking for the shooter and it's unclear what sparked this incident. a week ago, two people were hit during gunfire during a vigil for nipsey hussle. officials announce they're beefing up security for the boston marathon. they're expecting around 1 million people to attend. monday's big event marks six years since three people were killed and hundreds more injured when two bombs went off near the finish line. southwest

invite and being on the embarcadero around 9:30 this morning was fantastic. let me show you what it looks like now at 12:18. that's the the view of the golden gate. there's places across the bay area right now that are 11 degrees warmer than they were yesterday at this time. i'll show you in that one second. he's another great view from the top of sutro tower. and you can see the bay bridge in the distance. we'll go to the coast. i'm going to put numbers in front of that. right now, low to mid 60s does not sound too extraordinary and concord at 76 degrees. we need to look at the comparison at how much warmer these numbers were than at this exact time 24 hours ago. santa rosa, 11 degrees warmer. napa is 11 degrees warmer. 5 degrees warmer at sfo. once you get into the south bay, there's not much of a change, but we'll be a couple of degrees warmer. even the 73 in san jose will be a bit warmer than yesterday. so the temperatures go up a bit, but i

may not notice. it's not so much we warmup a few degrees. it's the wind that's been the main thing you have noticed over the last few days. if we look at current wind speeds, look at half moon bay. 19 mile an hour sustained winds. everybody else is barely noticeable. this will pick up. watch what happens by the time we get into the early evening. we have a 22 miles-per-hour sustained wind and we're in the teens inland. breezy as we get into the late afternoon, but it's not going to be windy like it was yesterday. so we've got one more day to get through here where we have a breeze to deal with. and then as we look at a bigger picture, you never know what's been going on with the wind. if you get rid of the clouds, there's your big center of high pressure and that's responsible ose winds.that die dow u.d 65 a inday. but oo mimpresveer tha
