columnist bill rhodes will discuss tiger woods' latest victory. on to weather now, millions are under the threat of severe weather as a powerful storm system barrels toward the east coast. damaging winds, hail, and possible tornados are possible from the carolinas to new york. the storm has already left a wide swath of destruction across the south. at least seven people have been killed this weekend by violent storms including about a dozen suspected tornadoes. mireya villarreal reports from al toe, texas. >> reporter: this storm system can be measured in the destruction left behind. dozens of homes in hamilton, louisiana, flattened and yet this closet was spared with clothes still hanging inside. at least 11 tornadoes touched tned s ic i e different states. didn't have time to get scared until it was over. >> reporter: raja ann gray was

at home in texas with her four grandsons when one ripped through their small city. they survived by hiding in this hallway. >> my front porch, the awning over the front of the porch is in my neighbor's yard. >> reporter: the worst of these storms hit louisiana, mississippi, and texas saturday. in angelina county two children were killed when a tree hit their car. at the height of the storm, more than 100,000 people were without power. a tornado also touched down in alto, texas. population, 1,200. see ville morgan has lived here most of his life. morgan stayed home with his family, planning to ride out the storm, thinking they were in for heavy rain and high winds. >> when you guys are huddled in the corner here, what were you telling your grandchildren. >> everything is fine. >> reporter: by daylight crews were on scene cleaning up the damage and providing help to those who need. >> you've lived here for 30 years. what are you going to do? >> i'm going to have to start

the house democrats have given the trump deadline of april 23rd to turn over the returns. mr. trump has refuse under audit. sanders added the democrats' request for the return is all about political partisanship. our partners at bbc report a world war ii-era bomb was detonated in germany. it was discovered by firefighters in a frankfurt river last tuesday during a training exercise. about 600 people living nearby were evacuated from their homes yesterday. bomb disposal experts detonated the device sending water into the river, jetting water into the air between two bridges.
