in effect this morning at two universities in los angeles in an effort to prevent the spread of the highly contagious disease. the order was issued at ucla and cal state l.a. at ucla alone 119 students and staff are quarantined and at cal state, 198 including staff and students. health officials are urging people to avoid contact with others and notify the health department if they develop symptoms. students and staff could have been exposed because someone with the virus visited a public library. >> they say they have 2,000 visitors in that library a day. most don't sign in or out, so we've had a lot of exposure to folks we actually can't identify. >> health officials say each case stemmed from international travelers. everyone at both campuses is being urged to check their tion rec >> cbs news has confirmed that north korea has issued a $2

million hospital bill for of u student otto warmbier. he was convicted and sentenced to 15 years of hard labor for stealing a propaganda banner while on a five-day tour in north korea. he eventually was released but died once back in the u.s. >> reporter: these are the last photos of warmbier in a coma being carried off a plane in 2017 six days before he died. cbs has learned north korea demanded the u.s. pay $2 million for warmbier's medical expenses before he could return home. the university of virginia student was arrested in january 2016 after allegedly pulling down a propaganda poster in a pyongyang hotel. he was later sentenced to 15 years in prison with hard labor. joseph yun, the state department's top official of
