courtroom for the trial today. and she tells us about the e first witness. se conred a mile filed by the defense to try to prevent a witness from taking the stand. but the judge allowed carol to take the stand. she is the mother of one of the 36 people died in the ghost ship warehouse fire on december 2nd, 2016. the last text that she received from her daughter on that fatal night, read, i'm going to die now. nicolas niko was the second witness that the prosecution called. after the summer of producing music festivals, he cosigned the lease for the warehouse in 2013. he admitted that rvs and campers moved into the warehouse in the coming days even though it was stated it was for theater sets.
