illegal marijuana grow operation. three suspects are now in custody. so far no word on any injuries. the cause of the fire is still under investigation. today is day two of testimony in the trial of two men charged in the deadly ghost ship warehouse fire. >> one of the witnesses we heard from was a man who afreed to greet people at the door. he is a host and described the fire as a small glow and within five seconds it grew into an inferno. the smoke muffling the sound of the concert. he escaped with one of the defendants, max harris. harris and derick almena are

first quarterly report as a company today. it beat its rival uber to go public but the stock slipped before the ipo price. uber is set to make a stock market debut this week. as we first told you at the top of the broadcast, the u.s. stock market is plunging as increased tariffs on billions are set to go into effect later this week. nicole killian takes a look at what the tariffs could mean for all americans. >> reporter: china's government gotiationings as president trump threaten as tariff war. the president has threatened to increase tariffs from 10% to 25% on $200 billion of chinese goods. >> it will hurt the economy here. it will hurt the economy in china but i don't know how you

former white house counse mcgahn not to comply with a subpoena. the president said mcgahn does not have the right to comply. mcgahn's attorney said house democrats need to ask the white house for the records first. his decision not to comply could result in a contempt of congress. this comes as jerry nadler plans to meet with department officials after the doj missed the deadline to turn over the unredacted version of special counsel robert mueller's report. a committee will vote tomorrow on whether to hold attorney general william barr in contempt of congress for failure to comply with congress. meantime, republicans are stepping up their calls for demoats to stop investigating president trump. >> i told everyone there had been a conspiracy between that russia and the trump campaign. yet on this central question the findings are clear. case closed. >> that's just not a fact.

the case is not closed. >> democrats also want to hear from mueller himself on why he did not recommend obstruction of justice charges. the white house calls mueller's testimony unnecessary. today georgia's governor signed legislation banning abortion once a fetal heart beat is detected. that could be as early as six weeks. it marks the beginning of a possible legal battle. the aclu says the law is unconstitutional and plans to challenge it in court. georgia is the sixth state to ban it. iowa and north dakota laws were intacted. similar bills in kentucky, ohio and mississippi are also facing some legal fights. georgia home is many tv and movies. more than 100 stars promised to

day. the south bay already catching sunshine. the clouds, they're still there, looking north. we'll see clearing for all of this as we head through the rest of the afternoon. temperatures running in the upper 50s to low to mid-60s. the satellite and radarview, that upper level low that did bring a few showers yesterday morning now well to the south and the ridge of high pressure will be in control. with on shore winds, that's why we had the clouds this morning. we had the patchy drizzle as well. as we go through the day on future cast, you can see sunshine. so we are going to have clearing and clouds come right back for tonight into tomorrow morning. this is at 6:00 a.m. could see some patchy drizzle gnome morning but the sunshine as we go through the afternoon tomorrow. temperatures will be warmer for your wednesday. tracking our next weather system, that could bring some showers for us for thursday afternoon into friday morning. the weather models are not in
