college entrance exam. he is facing several fraud charges. on friday, marjorie clapper is due in court. clapper was advised to falsely claim her son was black and hispanic on his application. a total nts in an east bay school system are stepping up their protests. they're fighting for the teachers and students in new haven school district. they will march all the way to tonight's district board meeting. they want district officials to see their support for a 10% raise for teachers. >> i'm really disappointed in the teachers. we know they can pay the teachers. >> they deserve every penny they're asking for. >> as of now the district is offering a 1% raise with a one time 3% bonus.

today's tip of the day will be your cucumbers. a lot of produce say the heavier the better. for cucumbers lighter, you know why? less seeds. you hear about the cucumber dripping. that's from the seeds. you can add them to so many dishes or by themselves, or with a salad. selection and storage is important or forget it. when you buy them make sure it home store them in the refrigerator right away. once they get room temperature they will start to break down and get mushy and crispy cool cucumber. i'm tony tantillo. remember to eat fresh and stay healthy. i like them in a salad cut up.
