this afternoon, a jewelry owner is expected to plead guilty in connection with the college admission scandal. marjorie klapper is accused of fraud. she falsely claimed her son was black and hispanic on his college application. she's also accused of paying $15,000 to rick singer's foundation. prosecutors have said they plan to recommend a sentence at the low end of the four to ten- month range as well as a fine. 4 million students have accumulated more than a

trillion dollar in college debt. one plan is to have employees help pay down the debt. >> reporter: he works in fareway. he has more than $19,000 left to pay. >> it didn't grasp until my junior year when i said i would graduate. >> reporter: he is paying down his debt with the help of fareway. the company is giving him $5,000. >> with this benefit i'm able to save money on interest and also get rid of my student loan debt quicker. >> reporter: but the benefit is taxed. so they're waiting for congress to sweeten the deal. currently a company can tribt up to $5,250 each year helping workers, but no such tax break
