neighborhood say they are heartbroken after police shot nt we are r-old, kpix fives j here in walnut creek, where the police shooting ended yesterday, you can see that a small memorial is set up here for a person named miles. >> this home here on center court is believed to be where the first 911 call originated at 4:41 pm yesterday afternoon. a woman that her grandson was threatening her, then a minute later, neighbor called and said they could hear fighting and a possible gunshot. >> wake up and go wow, this is a very peaceful, pleasant neighborhood. it is a wonderful place to row up and raise kids. >> six minutes after the first emergency call, a woman from the state called 911, saying her phone was being violent. and was threatening her with a metal pole, with a pointed end. police say she told the dispatcher he had mental health problems, and would be aggressive with police. neighbors we spoke to said they were confused about what was happening. >> we don't know what went down.>> heartbroken.

>> police arrived on scene at 4:52 pm, when just another call came in, this time the neighborhoods that a man with a red bandanna over his head and face was holding a giant crowbar, and was pounding on his front door. after a brief search, police found a man with a long bar with a pointed end, walking on arlene lane. police say he didn't listen to their multiple commands, ordering him to drop the prybar, but he ignored them and ran towards them, after being shot at with multiple rounds of beanbags, he kept running at officers, resulting in two officers shooting their guns at him. >> he is in his young 20s, grew up in the neighborhood. known him since he was four years old. he's just got a heart of gold, he's an amazing kid. >> i wasn't here, i cannot speak to the actual event, so i like our police officers, i support them, they have done a great job here. >> the five officers involved were all put on played paid

the royal family is rolling out the red carpet as president trump makes his first official state visit to the united kingdom. earlier today, he and the first lady joined prince charles and camilla for some afternoon tea. the trumps were given a tour of westminster abbey, but as ian lee reports, there is controversy surrounding this trip. >> reporter: a grand display of british royal fanfare welcomed the president and first lady to buckingham palace. queen elizabeth is hosting the three-day lavished a fair. her majesty stood on the sidelines with the first lady, while president trump inspected the guard of honor, his daughter ivanka and other family members watched from above. troops fire traditional gun salutes at london landmarks, to mark president trump's state visit. the pageantry is on full display around buckingham palace, this is just a third time in american president has been granted the honor of a state visit, by the queen. only barack obama in 2011 and george w. bush in 2003 have received the coveted invitations.>> the state visit

as it is a growing memorial to remember the 12 slain in last friday's shooting, federal investigators are on the scene. authorities have yet to determine a motive, but one survivor says this man, keith cox may have saved the lives of seven coworkers as he directed them to hide, police say the suspect, dewayne craddick died after a shootout with the authorities. they are set to reopen tomorrow. this week, delegations from the u.s. and mexico are meeting to try to resolve their trade differences. meanwhile, president trump isn't backing down from his threat on tariffs, if mexico doesn't stop migrants heading for the u.s. border. what mexico has been doing to this country, for some years, like 25 to 30 years, with drugs and human trafficking, and illegals all pouring through mexico, no good. and caravans, no good. >> the president says he will put a 5% tariff on all goods coming from mexico, beginning next week. those tariffs will rise 5% each month until october.

the live look in san jose, where there is plenty of sunshine over downtown, a little further north to the top of the salesforce tower, the camera here looking back down the bay, you can see clear sky here, all we have to do, using the other camera or one of the other cameras on the top of the salesforce tower, you can see there is a steady stream of low clouds coming in from the golden gate. and if we just go a little further west, we are just covered right now at ocean beach, this is the pattern, we have been saying that all morning, and really for the last several days, coast never really quite clears out from the current pattern, even though everybody else did start to get breaks his son right around 11 o'clock this morning. we are going to keep it that way. sun set comes around 8:27 pm. by then, we will likely start to see the stratus building backing for many locations through the bay. sunrise tomorrow at 5:48 am. between now and then, these are the daytime highs for today, these are the ones that are pretty much average, a little bit warmer than we were over the weekend. you might notice a subtle increase with these numbers, but i want to do is show you

tomorrow. and i want to do the comparison, take a look at the daytime highs, first for oakland, then for concord. for oakland, the average would be 69 degrees for this time of year it was 70 tomorrow, 77 on wednesday. that is a noticeable warm-up, look what happens when we compare those numbers to inland and concord, going up to 94 for the daytime high on tuesday and 93 on wednesday. so yes, there is a warm-up coming. but some of us are really going to notice it a lot more than others in the locations you will notice a lot more, san jose you are going to split the difference between those two. you will be in the mid-80s, co average by the end of the week. how are we going to such a big warmup like this? you barely even see it if you just looked at the satellite. but if we watch the circulations in the atmosphere, there is a center of high- pressure. watch what happens over the next few days, i'm going to dance this. that circulation works its way towards us. by the time we get to tuesday and wednesday, now it's sitting
