incident between a team minority owner and a raptors player in the st. that incident involved the guard kyle lowry and mark stevens. emily turner has reaction coming in. >> reporter: court side drama is making headlines. let's take a look right now at the video of when this actually happened. you can see the spot highlight in real time. and we'll rerack it to watch it in slow motion. he falls into the sideline and the man in the blue shirt, right there, that's the shove from mark stevens. this happened in game three to kyle lowry. he was the raptors' guard. the warriors as a result of this making this statement today after he was kicked out in the fourth quarter. there is no place for such interaction between fans or anyone and players at an nba game.

their countries, and for the survival of liberty. . >> more than 15d-day veterans returned to the shores today. veteran jake larsen returned to omaha beach for the first time in 75 years. the 96-year-old shared his experience. >> i'm the last person alive from my unit that landed. never in my dreams did i think i would be going back to normandy. >> larsen almost didn't make it herement and it wasn't because of age. it was funding. two women at a coffee shop stepped up and raised the funds for the trip. meanwhile, in washington at the national world war ii

memorial, a wreath laying ceremony took place. veterans and representatives from each of the allied nations took part. and coming up, a closer look back at d-day. and the search continuings for a gunman in santa rosa. jackie ward is telling us investigators are trying to figure out what led up to the gun fire. . >> reporter: four people recovering from gunshot wounds, three have nonlife threatening injuries and one has life threatening injuries. several soccer games were being played and witnesses tell police they saw people yelling at each other before the fight escalated. >> using inappropriate language. the guy starts shooting. >> reporter: at least ten shots fired, with bullets hitting four people, including an 11- year-old boy. the boy and two others are

listed as stable. a 21-year-old has life threatening injuries. >> it appears at this point in the investigation, the original 21-year-old male that was shot was the intended target. the other three were innocent bystanders there to play soccer. >> reporter: because of the violent nature of the crime and because the investigation is ongoing, police will not be releasing the victims' names. >> we have will gang activity had the area in the past. i don't have the statistics for you. but that has happened. >> reporter: the suspect took off in a dark suv heading southbound. the car had multiple people inside it. the shooter is described as a hispanic male. >> i don't know if it was gang related. don't know what was the reason they turned around and started shooting. >> reporter: a $2500 reward is offered to anyone who can provide police information that

may lead them to the suspects. in santa rosa, jackie ward. as part of the investigation, police are determining whether they should increase patrols. and one person is dead after a shooting outside of a san jose elementary school. anne makovec looks at the investigation now underway. >> reporter: the man died behind the wheel of a car across the street from thomas p. ryan elementary school after being shot. a police officer on patrol heard the gunshots at 12:19 a.m. and came here and found a man shot once dead in a vehicle. gina heard the gun fire. >> i heard four shots. and a man yelled out something. i don't know exactly what he said. >> reporter: it happened here where we spoke with another neighbor. >> it's scary.

in the morning, first time the police came and knocked on the door. >> reporter: she's afraid for her granddaughter in a neighborhood hit by violence violence before. . >> it's not the first time. >> reporter: police have not released suspect information and school went on here as scheduled. anne makovec, kpix5. and a crew spent much of the morning mopping up a fuel spill on 680 just before 4:30. a tanker spilled fuel across the freeway. all lanes are back open right now. but no word yet on what caused the mess. and the bay area's three major airports dealing with the aftermath of a major power outage at los angeles international airport. there were cancellations and delays. and two flights were canceled in oakland. the lax outage hit last night

and evacuations ordered. and tragedy at the west point training site in new york. one cadet is dead and more than 20 others injured after a military vehicle rolled over. the crash happened just before 7:00 this morning near camp natural bridge. a summer training site for cadets. 20 cadets and two soldiers were hurt and will be okay. >> they were headed to land navigation training in the back of the truck and transferred to the training site. that's when the vehicle had the accident. >> it is not clear how the vehicle rolled over. authorities are investigating. happening today, a memorial as much as for a long-time bay area political figure. she was a member of congress she later joined the u.s. state department as an undersecretary in the obama administration and helped negotiate a treaty with

russia. she died at the age of 67. the service is 2:00 p.m. in walnut creek. and still ahead, president trump talking tariffs again against mexico and china. the new threats he's laying out.

. it is day two of trade talks between the u.s. and mexico. the negotiations focused mostly on what mexico can do to stop the flow of migrants. border agents apprehended more than 132,000 people last month. about 4,000 people a day, the

highest level since 2006. president trump said if the numbers don't come down, levy a 5% tariff on mexico starting monday. he threatened an addition lt $325 billion of tariffs against china. and more now on the 75th anniversary of d-day. vice president mike pence visited virginia for a memorial today. 19 soldiers from the small town died storming the beach in 1944. they were part of an estimated 2500 american service members who were killed that day. we take a look back on that day, d-day, as narrated by past u.s. presidents. >> june 6, 1944, these beaches echoed with the sounds of gun fire. through the wind and the waves came the soldiers out of the

and another one of the coast. you can see plenty of sunshine here and looking down the coastline at ocean beach. something dramatic changed for us in the last 24 hours because we had gone through a big cool down. i can show you what happened here. see the time? wednesday afternoon, yesterday, at noon. we had a center of high pressure here. we weren't really experiencing watch what happens from yesterday at noon to today. do you see how the winds shifted and now they're coming in through the gate. as a result, it's breezy out there. look at wind speeds, 24 mile an hour sustained wind for the city and 15 at san jose. and check out the north bay, a similar story. santa rosa, it's calm. breezy through the afternoon and evening. the winds don't die down until tomorrow. and tomorrow gets better. more of a straight northerly flow down the coast and a little bit of a break.

and we're in the midst of a warm-up past tomorrow. watch what happens here. we'll use san jose as an example. average is 78. we're there today. 76 today. 78 tomorrow. and then back in the mid 90s by monday. d we'll see the trend repeated across much of the bay area. not today. are toy's numbs. there's the 76 for san jose. e and coming back at 5:47 tomorrow. hang in you allergy sufferers. climbing higher from the medium to very high range for pollen. and this weekend, a county fair is happening and it will be warm. mid 80s if you have plans ongoing or maybe you didn't have plans and we gave you an idea. there's the seven-day forecast. that's the warm-up. that gets us to numbers in the mid 90s by the time we get to

. welcome back. as people get older, it can be harder to keep up with home maintenance and repairs. a woman has made sure many get the services for free. it's this week's jefferson award winner. . >> she kept discovering things. . >> reporter: she wasn't laughing when she first looked' leaky roof. >> and she didn't have hot water or a shower. and the electricity were hanging down. >> reporter: she couldn't afford the repairs to her home.

>> i cried. because i don't think anybody should be living in this condition. . >> reporter: she's a founding board member of rebuilding together east bay north. the 28-year-old nonprofit does free home repairs for low income seniors, the disabled, and veterans. she and a team of volunteers spent two years fixing ethel's house. >> from rags to riching, let me tell you, they did an excellent job. >> reporter: more than 1,000 volunteers donate time from contractors to rotary club members who recently replaced more than 100 burned out light bulbs at the this church. so now, norman franklin can prair meals for the homeless in the kitchen any time of day. >> if the light isn't working,
