machines that sorts baggage and it is affecting some of the departures at sfo. chopper five was above the tarmac a couple of hours ago and you could see some of the united planes lining up as their seem to be isolated issues with united. about an hour ago, in the department departures area, this is what we found, a lot of people trying to sort baggage by hand. as far as delays, they seem varied from what we heard. many passengers did not even know what was going on but we did speak with one woman who said there were significant delays. >> i've been here over here's

view from chopper 5 over the baggage compartments there outside of the planes as they, again, had to go through them manually. united has not made a statement about this. employees told us off camera that the issue appears to be over. it is good news if you are flying out. >> during the delay at sfo, it wasn't all bad for passengers. check out these photos. the pilots on board one united plane invited people up for pictures while they were waiting and let passengers take a peek inside the cockpit and take some photos. i'm emily turner at the live news desk a scary morning for one santa clara neighborhood. you can see video from chopper 5 as a truck went into the side of a house, rupturing a gas line and created a gas leak. at first, police evacuated the neighborhood but luckily they were able to stanch the leak, turn off the gas pipe and asked people to stay inside their homes. at this point we do not know the cause of the accident but

" the president son, donald trump junior he tweeted but quickly deleted the post. political rivals quickly came to her defense. senator cory booker says harris "doesn't have blank to prove." senator elizabeth warren called the attacks racist and ugly and

salesforce park is finally

coming back to life. vendors are moving in, people walking around and again, very excited. >> reporter: just a couple of hours after reopening, people were taking advantage of all salesforce park has to offer. instead of taking the escalator to the park, many take the gondola to get their morning cup of coffee or stretch their legs before work . >> it is great to get on the gondola today and try it for the first time. we are happy to have the park reopened. it will be nice to see people in the windows enjoying the park. >> reporter: w >> i remember when the park opened and closed and oh, my goodness, it is reopened in the gondola or tram, what a way to go into work. >> i was riding the bus in here for the last few months before the close down and was enjoying walking around the park this morning so i'm glad it's back. >> reporter: a 5.4 acre roof talk rooftop area had plenty of space. ashley linworth has studied urban design and now works for -- development centers. the group that manage and manages the park but she said they used the last several

in some location with an onshore flow. 17 mile-per-hour winds at sfo, 12 at half moon bay, 13 in downtown san francisco, 10 for oakland, southwesterly wind at 12 in berkeley and 13 mile-per- hour winds in vallejo. looking at 11 mile per hour winds in napa right now. here's the satellite radar view, the upper level low bringing in the sea breeze for us so we are starting with morning clouds and areas of fog and afternoon sunshine. that will be the case over the next several days. as you go through the rest of the afternoon, we will have clearing with clouds pulling back to the coast and as we start tomorrow, clouds and areas of fog along the bay. we could see some patchy drizzle along the coast tomorrow morning and we will have clearing as well. good news for allergy sufferers, we are down for the pollen report in the medium category over the next several days. that is great to see. we are coming to an end of the allergy season. sun set at 8:35 and sunrise at 5:31.

and animal rescue team is a bizarre request. they are asking for old bras to help save the lives of turtles. the carolina waterfowl rescue says it uses the clasps from bras to weld turtles cracked shells back together. they say most turtles have been injured by being hit by cars or boats, as many as 40 turtles a week over the past month. they have been taken in with damaged shells. >> it is these ingenious things that people created in the past that we can use today to help
