it is still early and it is a holiday weekend and we will see how things progress. sfo, anne makovec, kpix 5. new video of a san jose fire believed to have been sparked by illegal fireworks last night. the fire department was called to live court and found multiple trees in at least one car and fire. witnesses say the teenagers were playing with fireworks in the street when one exploded. there were no reports of any injuries the, and no word at this point of arrests. cruz and contra costa county responded to 37 fires in the span of just six hours. almost all of them believed to have been sparked by illegal fireworks. these are photos from an incident in pittsburgh. the fires were put out quickly, because extra crews were brought onto work the holiday. >> we had a strike team out of the ground going from fire to fire, especially for the bigger ones. the name of the game for us on a night like last night, is to hit the fires hard and st

early warning system. one official telling kpix 5 of testing goes to plan, the end p a man is dead after a crash on mount hamilton in santa clara county. the driver is under arrest, suspected of dui. the chp says a vehicle plunged off of the side of mount hamilton road, just before midnight. firefighters used tables to hoist the car out of a ditch. told officers they need a restaurant and heading down the hill with the range rover drifted. it happened near ellen rock falls road just outside san jose. officers in the driver, latoya phillips showed signs of intoxication. she was arrested for felony dui. major damage to this starbucks in san lorenzo, after a crash overnight. a city and plotted to the shop at hesperia and and lewelling boulevard around 1 a.m. when fire crews arrived, the car was empty. witnesses say he was eventually pulled from the store. we are learning more about a deputy involved shooting in bodega bay. it happened just after 8 p.m.

at the bodega harbor subdivision. officers the reports of a man attacking people. abate rushed to the scene and found multiple victims injured. the suspect is also accused of stealing a car. police tracked down the suspect, who allegedly assaulted the officers, and that is when a deputy opened fire. the suspect, and they victims are at local hospitals. no word on their conditions. activis in san francisco calling for u.s. lawmakers to close immigration detention centers. numbers of the jewish community and other activists marched to house speaker nancy pelosi is the cisco office. they say they want to the fund i.c.e. and customs and border patrol in provide permanent protection for undocumented immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers. there was also this really, in march in washington today,
