"the indianapolis star" reports the grandfather of the indiana toddler who died after falling from a window in the cruise ship allegedly thought the window was closed. on sunday 18-month-old chloe wiegand fell 11 stories on a cruise ship. the cruise ship first said he lost grip of the daughter. but he said he sat the girl on a railing in a play area near what he believed was a closed window. >> he literally thought there was glass there, and he thought she was going to bang on the glass like she does at a hockey game when she's with her brother. clearly he was wrong. clearly it was a terrible tragedy, and i think it could have been prevented. >> authorities say they're investigating the incident and will decide whether to file negligence charges against the

"the new york times" says former vice president's joe biden's tax returns show he and his wife jill received more than $15 million in the first two years since leaving office. the returns were released yesterday by his presidential campaign. most of the money came from speaking fees and book deals. biden has long described himself as middle class joe. he also once said he was the poorest member of the senate. the "washington post" reports president trump is set to sign an executive order today to overhaul the nation's organ transplant and kidney dialysis system. the measure is designed to prolong lives and save billions of medicare dollars. mr. trump will reportedly outline proposals to keep people with kidney disease off dialysis longer, make dream less expensive, and encourage more kidney and live liver donations. and cbs new york's wcbs reports a woman died while receiving liposuction in the dominican republic. on friday alexandra medina
